    That's a good idea, but would they be satisfied with just seeing it on camera? I think if there is any treasure there, they'd want to be able to touch if and take it with them.

    You are correct. The rotation of the earth doesn't actually effect flight times. The difference is that the wind blows from west to east, which shortens the flight time, and the effect is more pronounced at higher altitudes due to the Jet Stream. So, flying east is faster.
