Today is June 26th and our anniversary isn’t until September 23rd,” I responded. “I didn’t say it was our anniversary, but it’s the seventh anniversary of the Supreme Court decision in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges. It’s the case that made same-sex marriage legal and the decision was handed down on June 26, 2015. It also happened durin
  4. A gay man arrives home and wishes his husband Happy Anniversary, but is soon informed it's not their anniversary. That's when he states that he was referring to the anniversary of same-sex marriage being legalized. Once this is cleared up, they discuss the impact and possible future for same-sex marriage.
  5. And she'll be in good company, because she'll be going into space with many others from the Star Trek universe. Bon voyage to each and every one of them as they go where no one else has gone before.
  6. Come on, gang. Get those Anthology stories in. We need to hit a minimum of 20 stories for the anniversary. Looking at the links page for the anthology stories, we're still at least a half dozen stories short. Get those creative juices flowing and get your stories in. 13. Put the hot dog trophy in the front passenger set and you have the universal signs for a male and female. A wiener and a nice pair of headlights.
  14. Ah, mea culpa
  15. Zombie, Turing was born in 1912, so it would have been the 110th anniversary of his birth, otherwise he would have been 14 when he wrote the paper "On Computable Numbers".
  16. There's nothing like being recognized as having the biggest wiener, oops... I mean eating the most wieners.
  17. Well, we couldn't see what he was doing, so maybe he was hanging him by his balls and John Boy just found it funny.
  18. And now we've gone from these to using flash drives.
  19. I'm afraid this might not be obvious to some of our younger members who weren't around when there were floppy disks in the first place, let alone when users were upgrading to hard disks. I still have a stack of unused hard disks in a cabinet... lol
  20. I prefer mine without the glove.
  21. It's definitely been to hot here. It's in the 90s most days (32-37 C), and some days it feels as if it's in the 100s (38-43 C) because of the humidity. I'm paying that fall gets here soon.
  22. I guess that would depend on how hard you're blowing on the tumbleweed. lol

  24. The air marshal caught a stowaway, and since the stowaway didn't have a seat that he could strap himself into, the air marshal offered him something to hold onto to keep his body from being tossed around during the landing.
  25. Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoy my stories.
