    Unfortunately, too many people suffer through relationships such as this. I was taken advantage of in a similar situation when I was younger, but fortunately it didn't come to such a drastic end. I hope this might enlighten others so they can get out of a bad situation before it's too late. Nice work.

    WL, even though I figured out the true nature of the other boys from your description when the two met, I was drawn into their story and loved the way you brought them together. It's sad how most humans have very little regard for nature and wildlife. I grew up in the country on a small farm, and the last time I went back there the house I grew up in is gone and there are other, newer and larger homes there, but I still have my memories of what it was once like. Thank you for this wonderful story.

    Yes, it's unfortunate, but the LGBTQ segment of the population may always be the target of others. Many people seem to hate what they can't or don't want to understand. I'm glad you enjoyed my story.

    Mancunian, a very touching story and it was sweet that you had John and Steve die on the same date, at the same time, only five years apart. And although they never got married, I'm glad they had a family together. I was waiting to discover his car became the Weasley's magical car, but having it end up in the car museum was much better.

That's when he states that he was referring to the anniversary of same-sex marriage being legalized. Once this is cleared up, they discuss the impact and possible future for same-sex marriage.

    Zombie, Turing was born in 1912, so it would have been the 110th anniversary of his birth, otherwise he would have been 14 when he wrote the paper "On Computable Numbers".

    I'm afraid this might not be obvious to some of our younger members who weren't around when there were floppy disks in the first place, let alone when users were upgrading to hard disks. I still have a stack of unused hard disks in a cabinet... lol
