  1. That was great. It kind of reminds me of the westerns when I was a kid - the good guy always wore the white hat and clothes, while the bad guy the black hat.and garmets. I guess it was their tailors that decided if they were good or bad, where in Oz it was the beauticians (and possibly a plastic surgeon). .
  2. It looks nice, but how does the ball carry and how's the visibility for the fielders? I hope it offsets the summer heat in Miami too.

  4. Although I had picked them to win, I think some of the Kentucky fans need some serious education about acceptable post-game celebrations. Come on! Are you telling me they can celebrate without destroying things? That's like setting Churchill Downs ablaze after the Derby.

    Hope For the Future

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate your support and leaving a review for me.
  6. Yes, in the carefree and foolish days of my youth, I had one or two nights that embarrassing.
  7. Happy Birthday, Lugh, and many, many more.
  8. If any of you were one of the three winners, please contact me. lol
  9. There are several good-looking guys here at GA and I'm sure they love to pose for you. If the distance is a factor, they might be able to send you some pics to work from.
  10. I'm more into the college scene, but I'd say it was due to their scoring more points than the other teams. Seriously though, sometimes when you get a team without the big name players, they play as a team and not for individual glory. That's what initially hindered Miami, since they had all the big named players that were more worried about their own stats instead of team success. Some of the Bulls players may eventually get that recognition, but for now we are seeing the professional game still played as a TEAM sport. LOL
  11. I'm not a hockey fan, but I'll give it a try.
  12. For me it's a phrase - Family Values. It's not that I'm opposed to having values, but everytime this phrase comes up, it merely means that someone group outside of the norm is about to get screwed. For most people that use this phrase, it just means that they want everyone else to adhere to their values, with no room for disagreement.
  13. Since Trevor was the one pushing for this, I think he deserves some credit. Therefore, I vote for Trevor's Sports Bar.
  14. Trust me, I don't hate Kevin, but I certainly wouldn't want his luck. He may make out ok in the end.
  15. I think it will be Kansus and Kentucky in the finals, although Louisville has pulled more than a few upsets this season. I'd have to go with Kentucky to win it all, though, since that was my pick from the start.
  16. Hey, Carl not only killed Shane, but he set a barnful of walkers on fire. He's one of the leading walker killers now. And I think there will be many more in his sights.
  17. Syracuse has done better than I expected without Fab, but I'm not a big Ohio State fan. They've got a tough match-up to get to the Elite 8 or Final Four. I have North Caroline and Kentucky in there though. The rest I'm not so sure about.
  18. Damn, how do I find out if I'm one of those guys, so I know if I should grow one?
  19. How do you know about Michonne? I've wondered if Merle might be the leader of Merle's old group. What are they going to do about all being infected, so they turn after they die? What if one of them dies in their sleep? Will that person start eating the others? Damn, I hate to see time fly, but come on October. Can you imagine me wishing months away like that? lol
  20. Wow! What a lot of zombies. lol And we lost some, but not more main characters. Who was the masked man, I mean hooded figure with the no-armed zombies, who saved Andrea? Will the others follow Rick after his confession? And where will they go? Damn, when does the next season begin?
  21. Don't let comicfan's picture scare you away. We're not all funny looking and this is a great place to hang out.

    Chapter 1

Thanks, Beloved. I'm glad you enjoyed this. I know it struck some nerves and drew out some painful recollections, because if we weren't picked on, we at least knew someone who was. I hope this might help cause some people to speak out and stick up for those on the receiving end in the future.
  23. What's with you and Cassie? Both with notes in the locker. Hmmm... collaboration? Although I had a hunch who the secret admirer was, I still enjoyed the ride. Thanks for taking us along on it.
  24. I could identify with the theme, since my own children had each pulled their own litle rebellions. There were just two things I wished you would have cleared up. Why didn't the mother respond normally at the end and what was the deal with the father? I can understand the teen angst, but I was curious about the parents.
  25. A touching story, beautifully written. I loved the little twists and turns. Excellent job.
