Hello. WL used to be a dog. I guess I still am.

The glasses are pretty much the same, since that's what Ginsberg wore, but the wand is definitely different. What more can I say? lol

I didn't care for most of the Glee renditions of the Beatles songs, but when it comes to the Beatles, I guess maybe you had to have been there at the time to appreciate what they accomplished. If you go back to the pre-Beatles days and look at rock music, it had a good beat, but for the most part it was a lot of repitition. You can look at some old songs, like the Chuck Berry songs, you'll recognize the same tune a lot of times, but he just used different lyrics. The Beatles transformed the genre. The went through a series of reinventing themselves. They started out with a basic rock format, but then they grew and diversified. Even though some of it may have been drug induced, the used a variety of musical instruments and different influences, like Eastern music, and all the other groups of that time ended up doing a lot of the same things to compete with them. It was a fun time, when you didn't know what they were going to come out with next.

I used to argue the theological basis of their argument, but I soon learned my grandfather's advice had been correct. You cannot argue or reason with someone who is convinced they are right.

My first take was that the grandfather took a photo of the letter before he sent it, so he'd have it to show his grandson or others later.

It was so touching, yet so painful to watch. I'm just glad he added the note at the end saying it didn't go as badly as he'd expected.

Jaro, thank you for the feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed this story. I wrote this at a time when many politicians were boistrously opposed to gay marriage and gay adoption, which I strongly disagreed with. It may have also subconsciously influenced how I portrayed the various adult figures in the story, although I was primarily focused on the difficult, budding relationship between Leo and Colt.

I'm so disappointed in the Falcons so far. Denver's looking good and I think Peyton would like to add the 2013-14 Super Bowl ring to his collection. I think he feels he needs it to up his standing on the All-time QB list.

Man, are they struggling. If Mariano could have forseen what this season would be like, I'm sure he would have opted to retire last season.

Isn't it ironic that many of the people that wish to ban or burn books will be the first to claim freedom of speech to protect their won coice and opposition? I guess they want their cake and be able to eat it too.

So you set up your own "So You Think You Can Dance' show. I'm sure it went over well. I love the idea of not wasting the banquet and inviting the homeless to enjoy. That was pretty special. I also got a kick out of the boy's reaction to his stuffed wolf being sewn up. Kids are just so adorable.

I'm not sure you can really define the 'point,' as you put it, because there are a myriad of factors involved and they can vary with the different individuals you come into contact with.
