I think Miranda ( Travis mother?) Is in cahoots with another for more money now that Curtis isn't around as a wallet. Still thinking either an unknown man, or better yet.. one of Wade or Matts families ( going with Wades family on probabilities)

As a person who lived through the madness of Thatcher, it all makes perfect sense the children's names. And the final lines? What a hoot! Thanks 😊 🫂

I had the same thought, brother " no longer with us ", as in overseas andnot the UK? Worded vaguely enough to have multiple options

Oh, Finley has found the home for his horde, and it seems that the house likes him back. He senses that the air and vibrations are right for him and Emmetts "... I can be myself here" just validated Finleys resolve. Really lovely warm chapter, thank you 😊

Interesting comments on a story that I acknowledge could be seem as intimidating or even creepy. it was a momentous interlude in a persons life that resonated with me. Morris was wrong, no doubt but he helped a young man to crystallise his own inner turmoil. This story didn't bother me at all. Effect was not abhorrence, more like both parties gained. Wonderful work and left the audience wondering where it was leading

Interesting comments on a story that I acknowledge is different. From Lucas viewpoint ( which I remember from my own younger years in country New Zealand) it was a momentous interlude. Morris was wrong, no doubt but he helped a young man to crystallise his own inner turmoil. I, at 15 deliberately seduced 2 friends of my parents who were drunk they were early 30s and like Lucas, i pushed past my fears and reached for what I wanted ( late 70s folks). This story didn't bother me at all, only awakened lovely memories. Effect was not abhorrence, more like both parties gained. Lucas was not touched, led to understanding, but the photographs..ah well, very wrong.

I'm in Newtown and Young Henry's brewery is literally walking distance from our apartment. They do 100 ml tasting glasses, perfect on a sunny day, 6 small glasses of various styles for about 15 dollars 👌 😀

I had to google what a "double IPA " actually was. We here ( in the other real world) can buy it, but we have so many of our own craft beers here in Sydney , why bother with yours?? Hahaha 😆

Oh, yes, Jack is indeed that stupid, and would be caught out by Claire at the table him making eye attention to Amber... hahaha

I can see Amber being dismissed from Travis care and a more professional replacement being sought, but not before both Taylor and Marie both give vicious verbal blows to all the idiotic boys (including Jack here) for their hormonal rampage and letting JP and Stef know that she has being making waves in the household. Im surprised that Will hasn't warned her to calm down on her playing and that she is a guest, not the entertainment.

Act III - It's The Hard-Knock Life
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - It's The Hard-Knock Life
so.... the Queen was drawing upon her own people for power after the death of the Shifter King (did he really die though?) Clearly she only has concerns for herself and possibly her daughter, who is playing her own long term strategy. The shifters appear stronger than the witches but are they strong enough to overcome the Vampires? where for art thou Gabriel? Where have they hidden you... -
If Jack was invited, he's going to show up, honestly straight men often are oblivious to certain social signals. Will all the grandchildren appear? Poor Amber a more viscous, vicious and more troubled family since Alexis Carrington, Colby Dexter had a fight in the pool with Crystal Carrington all those years ago. Slowly burning with anticipation! We await our Masters pleasure @MarkAndrew...

Act III - You'll Never Walk Alone
Darryl62 commented on Jack Poignet's story chapter in Act III - You'll Never Walk Alone
I realised that I was holding my breath while reading this chapter, my goodness @Jack Poignet, what an evil genius you are, ( he said shivering in the imagined cold, you lovely bastard!!). You are writing so well that I am having trouble predicting anything that might happen. most excellent! Thanks love it all. -
"Chosen Family ", that's what you are to us @Robert Hugill, wonderful winter reading here in cold Australia 🇦🇺 Winter solstice just around the corner, best wishes!

Ah hah! 1/ I picked Guy Fellowes chapters earlier 2/ Dr. Eagen is brilliantly written, and I hope that he returns 3/ interesting dynamic between Taylor and all the others, will await further developments 4 / "Convivial "? Really, are you not worried that your American readers might need to have this word explained? Having just read about the poor level of comprehension and understanding of semi complex ideas that the average person has in that country 😳 ( opps is that the sound of multiple brain snaps?). Just kidding!!!, clearly you draw a more educated audience who understand nuance.

My, my, my... the emotional content was really satisfying, and I hope next chapter gives us all three powers together, being Shifters, Witches and Vampires. So much potential for wild explosion. Still want "Mother" to pay for her sins... and the rest of the leadership for their role with the King. -
I have just started this story, and I wanted to say how much I appreciate the Englishness of your work. A very welcome change from continental USA . To read of other land and places, peoples struggles that I can relate to, even though I am a New Zealander first, the echoes of townships, cafe's ring strong in my bones. Thank you for the joy you bring ❤

Loving this story, and the series. So glad to have caught up with all the relationship's and I await your next chapter! It is fun and when Ralph's kids meet Denise and their mum... interesting!!
-
I suspect Taylor has managed to come into the orbit of Guy Fellows and hes running things, hoping for a payment of sorts while Taylor things its all fun and games and that the cells will be miraculous left unlocked so they can escape. BTW, poor George Granger has been stuck in that carriage for a very long time now... just sayin...

Oh my goodness, a cliff hanger, is he really there? Is just Richter's consciousness? He he transported himself to the tower? Do we have to wait another 7 days to learn who this strange wolf is ? Presumably this is not Luther.. or is it?
