Another great chapter showing how much thought and care that goes into a Devlin-Major experience! Andrew and Ryan have worked very hard to ensure that guests, family, friends, and employees are all important to them. The yacht trip is just another investment that may pay off in future bookings and endorsements of their now many travel offerings! As always, great care goes into all of their decisions. ❤️

Yay! Jonah won, but I expect to see more surprises in the next chapters. The announcements appear to be just a bit of a set up for a few more surprises that are yet to follow. Victor will be a constant problem regardless of any possible future election outcomes, and Jonah still needs to work out his guilt problems, with the accident that killed his parents.

An interesting chapter into a much more complicated story! What will be ahead for Lucas? Nothing good, that ! can foresee. Alex reappears in this chapter, but what are his true interests? You have to love the friendship and concern that Sammy shows for Neil. The school's rumor mill just keeps spinning ahead. Can't wait to see what @Ronyx has up his sleeve for us, in his next chapter❣️

My school district always had chili served with a peanut butter sandwich, all twelve years of my education. They were great for dipping, and I continue to enjoy this tradition still, fifty years after my graduation from high school. I put my put my piece in a bowl and ladle my homemade ham and bean soup over it. I enjoyed both the cast iron skillet cornbread with soup, and the chili with peanut butter, during our recent and extended polar vortex! Warm food, warm memories, equal warm heart ❣️

I am impressed with the level of maturity that James has shown in this chapter. It appears that he has given their situation much thought, before coming to his wise but yet heart breaking 💔 decision. “It’s okay,” I say. “I guess. If he thinks it’s for the best, I have to trust him.” Jonah will now need to concentrate on dealing with his own multitude of issues that face him at this time. He won't be alone going forward. He has strong support from his new "family" in his new found...home! A moving and surprising chapter. Thanks @irivera, for keeping me on the edge of my seat with your story telling❣️

A short but sweet out of closet story, with interesting and very likable "hot" firemen. 🤔 I would enjoy to visit with them again in the future, in a more complex story line. Thanks @chris191070 ❣️

Dwight is right! Neil needs a better plan about returning to his school. I think he will have a positive influence on Neil. Sammy is sticking with Neil also. Neil needs to realize he does have some support despite Lucas's violent threats to his weak and scared schoolmates. Midas the dog will also try to lend his support to his new friend in the couples home. Waiting to find out where Lucas will end up next? There are still very many open barn doors after this chapter, and yet in this story, that will need to be closed somehow. 🤔

Happy to hear that your creative juices are kicking back in, because you now have a lot of interest in how you will handle the situations you have been tossing to us readers. Yep, never a dull moment, so far! We now know that Victor is perfect and is seeking more power to enforce his status quo on all of his classmates and the school board. No matter who he has to trample upon to achieve his goals. He will be tossing his info and threat bombs at anyone who gets in his way. Looking forward to seeing what your now active creative juices come up with the growing Jonah, James, and Will situation? You are out of your creative slump, so just go with it, and have your fun❣️ Another great chapter, that just stirs the pot of our increasing interest!

Especially If that violent bum is his own uncle Frankiin! Totally agree with your comment about Neil and his father. ❤️ I believe Granny has a big soft spot for her son Franklin. Perhaps he was raised in violent home also, and Granny is not such a sweet old innocent lady? We shall see.

Wow if Lucas is running away now, he better not let Franklin catch him! I have to admit that possibility didn't occur to me.

I am happy about what I think will be a positive for Neil. His part in this story has been a tough read up to this point. This does not seem to be the same case for Lucas. I have to wonder, what direction his future reactions will be? 🤔

In chapter 6, Harris twice stated that Colin was 25. Now at the hospital we hear it announced; "They are both in 405. They are Tim Foley and Colin Drake.” What is the real story about Colin Drake and his New York City background? Is there much more to this story, yet to be revealed by @chris191070? Perhaps, I may be wrong in my assumption of what really took place between Colin and Ken? Looking forward to what we will find out next. Yes, we need some answers.

I had the feeling that Ken would be involved in foul play at the club fire. He was so jealous that someone took his free meal ticket (Harris) from him. His warped mind has caused so much tragedy! 😢

A chapter filled with insights and actions from all involved in so many different aspects of the story. Neil feels the needed love of his father. Owen and friends understanding the complex situations in which they are now deeply involved in. Lucas is making threats, and facing the threats and actions of his own abuser. So many feelings are now mixing into the minds of all of @Ronyx's characters. There are so many directions for the next chapters to evolve going forward.

Happy to see that Jonah is fitting right in with the rest of his schoolmates and his cousins. Nothing like a good party to bring out the very best in people! I have the feeling that the party will get much more exciting, before Will drives the four Kildares back home.

A shocking end of chapter development! Will we need to wait until next weekend, to get more information about Colin? I fear that foul play may have been involved in the Sandy’s Hideaway fire, but it was a great tragedy, regardless. 😟
