Qana acting like an older brother advised Richter about the ball and inviting Aether. Richter is very socially withdrawn and inexperienced. Qana is trying to help hhm reach out and better connect with Aether, Richter eventually sends a long worded invitation and Aether accepts. They walk to the ball with Momus happily along as part of the group. How will Richter and Aether act towrds each other? Will they become emotional or romantic? Will this become a good or uplifting or painful experience?

I agree that this chapter made me sad. Marc is mad and upset. Marc considers ending the joint corporation as an option. Are they too incompatible ? Plus , he is now thinking That Adam does not understand him and his concerns. He has to really think on these two big matters. Marc said...."And now instead of enjoying time on Casi Oceanus with a person I thought I could love and would always have my back. I find he doesn’t understand me at all. I am wondering now if all of it was a mistake. Regardless, I will now do for me what I have done for the Corporation. And if anyone has a problem with that, then I damn well will burn it all down and walk away for good."

So Richter is the Storm Wolf and an admiral of a fleet and in the process of becoming the ultimate weapon. Will he be used in war? Will he go crazy? " I've always worried that the 'Storm Wolf' would just become the latest weapon of mass destruction, and once I'm dead or grow old and my deterrent power fades, everything will return to square one. So, should we accelerate and start the final reckoning while I still have enough strength?"

Marc started out as the avenging angel who took on the attack to the base and insured all enemy ships who did not surrender were destroyed, He did not have time to fully think about all that were killed as he wanted known firmly that his corporation will not be attacked, Unfortunately, Adam;s mother plannned his time at the intended next stop without consulting him, Marc was furious. He became mad at Adam from not telling his mom to layoff micromanaging him. Marc sent the fleet to their next stop and went to a different place run by his uncle. He left Adam behind to make sure he was mad that he did not stop or argue with his monther. Later on the way he relented and agreed that Adam could follow on another ship and join him at his new location. I expect Adam will act differently next time and stand behind Marc. This is their first real disagrement and they should have a serious discussion when they meet.

Richter seems to have had really limited social interaction with other wolves. He visited Aether's place and was mobbed by the young Momus He watched a fight and war game with other black wolves. At the end, Aether walked him out and suggested he smile more since he looked good smiling. Aether exchanged contact info with him. Richter needed help since he had never done this before. Will Richter continue developing this friendship? Qana told him Aether was a psychic.

Animal's car ran into Raffa's motorbike after work. Rffa is imjured and is being taken by ambulance to the hospital. Gray is shocked and very worried. His world has been turned upside down. How badly is Raffa hurt? Animal's car ran into others and he was pinned inside. Mike was observing. The police are on the scene investigating, Animal will not get away.

Alexi joined the group and lerned how to act s a vampire and companion. The group traveled eventually to Paris. The studied the town and made contacs, ever vigilant. Paris is a town of mysteries and intrigue. They are preparing themselves to stay safe and to prosper.

No one yet knows two outside sides are trying to buy the island.The two potential buyers do not know about each other. I can see the local reps will easily murder the other side. Law enforcement might decide one side is guilty and miss the other at this point. Dinwiddie-Shamus is connecting the dots and found out about Dinwiddie and how it uses very dirty tricks to buy property, He does not know why Dinwiddie wanrts the island.The Ghost was in the area and missed finding out about the mob's guy and then about the mob's interest. The Ghost found out that some firm bought part of the island from the missing brother. He called someone and talked about Deck and guy is going to pressure his bank, Uhhappily for him, Ghost's conversation was overheard and relayed to some else. He is now on someone's radar screen. The Mob--The FBI is going after the Mob but not one local knows this. The FBI does not know why the Mob wants the island. Itnis only a small part of the FBI investigation. One island property is bought and recorded. The other three sibblings are being pursued. Only Deck is not yet cornered. Deck needs money badly and owes his bank lots.The Mob seems to have better local informaion and is much farther along buying the island than the Ghost.

The situation is very murky. He left Greece by reaching out to an old friend who was his only hope. He is being hunted and is searching for clues. Alex learns there has been a mole and has a name. He is moving to find a man who operates like a shaddow in Beruit. I expect there will be great danger. He is immersed in a world of lies and intrigue and shifting allegiances.

The Marshall ordered selected people arrested who he claimed were guilty of treason. He would send them to the camps He ignored any mention of the Dreathbringer or past uphevals and the Age of Oblivion and dredders. The Marshal is living in his own world with hatreds and past slights and prejudices. He believes more notables can be arrested if necessary. He dispises the Shaddow Cross and is taking action. Interestingly, his young aide is a Montielon.

I can see the photo publcity for Travis will make him a hot, appealing person. He will look spectacular. He is handsome and an ideal surfer archtype. His career on the soap opera should get a major boost.

Two mysteries---How does Jeremy recover from Doorgate? He feels his mistake opening a door and exposing the huge security risk will ruin his coming out event. We will find out. I wonder what Belona thinks. She might back Jeremy since his action exposed a huge security risk. Secondly --What is CAWS? Did not Will earlier accept an offer to invest in Tesla and wanted one of the first electric cars? Is CAWS connected to him? If so, Brad and Stef will be miffed. He beat them on Facebook and now Tesla. He has the right connections and instincts.

Now, the two have to worry about Animal who they just saw. They had a great change in attutude from the relief in missing hitting a chain and Raffa giving Gray a winning blow job. They need to be very wary.

Ok--more revealed and more hidden. Like life there are main players and minor ones and some have their own motivations unrelated to the big issue of island ownership. We learned that the mob or outfit is behind the cult that has part ownership of the island. The ultimate plan is to develop it into a religious retreat that makes big money--tax free--charging at least $295 a day. Unknown to the master of the cult it will be a sexual retreat. The mob will soon have control of two parcels--the dead brother's part whose sale document to the Ghost was stolen at night and is being forged to the mob and the pending sale by the sister. Only the two older brothers remain to be bought or .......and the final matters are expected to be handled soon. The interest in the island by the Ghost or Dinwiddie Partners is not yet know. The mob also does not know the FBI is paying attention. There are at two others paying attention on the island's purchase who are not yet named publicly. We now know the fires have been caused by a local arsonist wo. wants to scare people off. Unfortunately the young love effort has flamed out. CO and Thayer did remain unhappy after sharing one orgasm. CO does not know what went wrong. Thayer was uneasy and not sure why. Well, CO later met Ozzie and was excited by him. Maybe they will connect soon.

Two parts Qana ran Richter through a series of outdoor live fire challenges. Richter chased after him at ultra fast speed and was hit by a series of surprising deadly attacks he had to defend against at a moments notice. He survived but had cracked ribs which Qana helped repair. Richter knows he has problem areas he needs to correct. Then Qama showed him the trials his brother faced in the selection process. He beat 7 opponents and at one point fought with a exceptionally powerful sword. He clearly used a psychic stance. Some one or more has secretly added this weapon to the mix which worried Qana. Was the selection being sabbotaged?

Anything you write I want to read and know you will make me think. I first became addicted to your work as I read the exploits of Midshipman George Granger. I had loved reading about Horatio Hornblower. Later, I was happy to see you added him as a character in one of your series. You are a gem and very creative author.

Richter is wisely being counseled and taught by Qana. Interestingly, Qana infered Richter is joining him as part of the highest ranked psychics. He was surprised to find out Richter blocked a control effort by an high ranked psychic which indicated he was more powerful. Qana informed Richter that his black wolf Nyx "friend" was as of yet an unrevealed psychic. Quana thought Richter was more than just a friend since psychics are attracting to each other. But, Richter has not indicated he was seeking a sexual relationship.

Was that a thought by Shamus a Freudian slip and worry by the author! Do we need more butt fucking in this story?

OMG--what a [ptential disaster after a good weekend ! I hope Raffa was not seriously hurt running into a chain in the work parking lot? Gray is very worried and chasing after him. We will find out next chapter.

I like knowing more about the disparate actors. There is much more to know. So, now we have found out that the FBI at the highest levels is investigating the Barzini mob family. It has many parts and one connects our story. The twin cities connection involves a turned scumbag ,Tookie, who was caught wearing a dresss , a wig and makeup. Tookie is squealing The sex trafficking and island purchase will come out. The Barzini mob family is not aware of its FBI risk. Meanwhile, Dickie Lee has bought out Linnie Lee for $450,000. The money will arrive tomorrow and he is having a party tonight with young men provided by Zoov( the sex business) .He thinks it is being funded by Zoov to create a sex company on the island. He does not know the mob is behind the deal . The downer is that CO and Thayer finally meet on a small island. The passionately kiss but as it turns neither has been with a guy before, CO partially strips and feels Thayer's hot body. They both realize that the only step is for CO to jack him off. But, they are not relieved or do or want more. I hope they meet again . We are left knowing the two sexually turned on young men are observed by someone--the Ghost-from the nearby cabin whose original purpose is to see what is happening on Ledecker Island. He so far does not know why Dickie Lee is celebrating. Dinwiddie partners is not identified by the law as a player, yet.

Richter while a great swordsman seems very innocent about the way they way things work in his larger universe and asks insightful, maybe unsettling questions. Qana tells him he will explain more when others are not able to listen. He is being a teacher to his student, Richter. BTW, it is interesting that Richter believes Qana considers him the son he never had.

The fleet has begun its new month lomg trip. The ships and men have trained in preparation and are continuing training exercises . Marc and Adam are working together well and are applying their different abilities. Adam is impresssed by Marc's decision making habits and sees he thinks long term to create a more powerful combined corporation. This trip is a test for the new, united business empire. Both men are aiming for it to be very successful.

What a happy, enjoyable night bowling and being open about each other , Gray and Raffa were so comfortable talking and moving about and then making love later. It all seemed to fit and they are growing together so well. No disconcerting thoughts or scary events took then away from having a good time. But, life goes on and maybe complications will arise. Gray and Raffa will be able to support each other.
