  1. Jaycen and Troy are so full of love for each other along with being so full of fun and playfulness. The camp out was beautiful and even the chilliness of the water didn't inhibit their desire for each other. Wonderful chapter.
  2. I'm not going to speculate about what happens next. To me Eric is very caring and protective of Kevin. He even organizes a toothbrush for him and stops the others teasing Kevin. Kissing and a couple of hand jobs doesn't sound like a typical one night stand with with a pop star. But then I haven't had a one night stand with a pop star, so how would I know what 'typical' would be.
  3. I sort of expected the trip to Paros to end with Elijah and, who I guessed would be the son of Niko, falling in love, but your narrative far exceeded my expectations. A masterfully written and magically mesmerizing chapter. Thank you @CasualWanderer82 for this story.

    Jamie Whatever

I always saw Jamie as more good guy than bad guy. I seem to remember him telling Matty that Rusty was worth chasing (or words to that effect).

    Jamie Whatever

Great to return to Sunny Hill and catch up with Jamie. Nice to see Rusty in the story and Xpress still up to it's usual mischief. And, a new mischievous role playing character who might even outplay catboy and Rybalt. Great start to this new story.

    Chapter 6

I don't have much to add to what has already been said. The relationship between Justin and his father is dysfunctional. It seems that His father doesn't know that Justin is gay. Justin has asked to stay with Scott and Scott has developed 'feelings' for Justin. Scott needs to be very careful because Justin is still very vulnerable and needs to be protected, possibly even from his own desires.
  7. Caxton is probably best know for his printing press, which he set up in Westminster. It is believed to be the first printing press in England. Among the books he published were works that he had translated into English himself.

    Chapter 5

A really heartwarming chapter to round off a delightful story. Everyone finds love and an extended family.

    Chapter 5

Very valid point @Cane23 , Justin is in a good mood with some positives (flushing E down the toilet) when he leaves Scott. His father is outside the cabin seemingly anxiously waiting for Justin to return. But when they meet, instead of relief and reuniting, all hell breaks loose. Whatever was said, and by whom, displays a dysfunctional relationship.
  10. An incredibly powerful chapter which draws out the turmoil Oliver was going through and is going through. Burning his father's house and contents could be the catharsis he needs to burn the trauma of the past and allow him to love again. Thank you @CasualWanderer82 for this amazing story.

    Chapter 24

Yes @CincyKris it was a big day for Ollie in so many ways. It is also a step in Ollie strengthening his relationship with Andre and Chris.

    Chapter 13

Another amazingly wonderful chapter. So much joy with Stanley, Colin and Jason. So much sadness and distress with Phil and Dwight, and some optimism with Phil and Gary.

    Chapter 24

Thank you @Lee Wilson for all your comments. As I have suggested in other comments Ollie, Andre and Chris are all lucky with being together.

    Chapter 24

Almost as many twists as in your stories @chris191070. Yes Ollie is seeing Chris and Andre as much more than foster parents.

    Chapter 24

Thanks @drsawzall for commenting on the chapter being true to life. Yes Ollie was so lucky to be found by Chris and Andre and their life has been enriched by Ollie. Ollie's mother needs to watch out.

    Chapter 24

Thank you @Cane23. She is certainly showing her true colours as an unworthy mother.

    Chapter 4

I love this chapter. What is unsaid between Scott and Justin highlights what is being said and creates a wonderful tension. A tension broken in one way by Sally but potentially compounded in another way.

    Chapter 24

Thank You @Summerabbacat for your thoughtful comments. You commented about Ollie being mature for his age. He's had to do a lot of growing up in a short time.

I suspect @Al Norris that a lynch mob could be forming. Thanks for commenting.

    Chapter 24

Ollie's comment about lying to dad is purely in relation to the grave plaque. A promise made at the time of the funeral and including the basic wording. At the grave, we see something of Ollie's relationship with his dad and he feels strongly that the promise to himself was also made to his dad.

    Chapter 24

Wednesday came faster than I expected. Jackson slipped easily into staying with us and assuming the role of big brother to Ollie. I was aware that the awesome4some were planning another video. They were receiving products to review so they had some choices. Jenny completed the electrics for the two shops (we kept calling them shops) and the carpet for mine was laid on Tuesday and as arranged Andre’s would be laid on Friday next week after the painters had finished. Andre had insisted that w

    Chapter 4

What we shouldn't overlook in this chapter is that Ed is a doctor. He is torn in deciding what he will do about his father's need for a kidney transplant. His father at this point is also his patient. Ed knows the cure and actually has the cure. If he refuses he effectively kills his father. He would have to live with that for the rest of his life and what about his relationship with Ellen when she finds out. Ed's decision is more complex than just forgiving his father or being altruistic. A good story @chris191070.
  24. Thanks @Bill W and @drpaladin for giving my your source. There seems to be some disagreement between the authorities. Not unusual I suppose.
  25. Hi @Bill W, Could you give me the reference for your 1693 date. My searches keep coming up with late 18th Century rather than late 17th Century. The OED for example says: OED's earliest evidence for gallinaceous is from 1783, in the writing of John Latham, naturalist. I'm thrilled that there are other people on GA who are also interested in words and their meaning and etymology.
