The song was familiar but not the singer. Perhaps my knowledge of dico is too limited. Obviously there's more to that scene than the Bee Gees, Donna Summer and Boney M!!! 😉

They have been known to be ... though probably not in areas so densely populated as LA. -

The weather Down Under is about as expected. Fires in Victoria around Christmas. Torrential rain along the east coast over this past weekend. And almost everywhere else as hot as Hades. Welcome to paradise! 😀 I pray that none of our authors have been affected by the fires in LA. I am concerned about an old school friend who lives south of LA, but I suspect he is far enough away to be ok. MP -
Hmmm... Sylvester? Sorry... never heard of him 🤔 Chase will be seen again for sure. He's too much fun to leave out. He is kind of modelled on a guy I know, Ben, who is also fun. 😉 Things are starting to heat up now! MP

Sitting in a clinic like that would certainly be an experience!!! As for the Medicare card, w. e don't get any feedback on its use, so mum wouldn't have found out. It is a government service and health care providers use it to bill to the scheme. I dont think anyone gets to see its usage. Medicare here is our "free" health care system (we actually pay for it through our taxes so dont need to have private insurance). MP

There was another chair in the office and Mr Webster sat down and looked at me. His expression was not unlike that of a caring parent, kind and understanding, and for some reason I couldn't explain I began to feel more at ease. 'I want you to know, Grayson, that as far as I am aware, you have not done anything wrong, so you have nothing to fear. Okay?' I think I managed to give them a nod. 'From what I have been told, you were reacting to someone from outside the company today, so

Higher position than the boofheads? Probably not. They would be on about the same level I think. 🙂

As I sat down on the chair opposite Mrs Mack's desk, she closed the door and then turned to me. 'How are you doing today, Grayson? I take it you've heard from Rafael what happened yesterday?' she asked, before sitting down behind her desk. 'I'm okay, thanks. And yeah, Raffa did mention what happened to Tom.' 'Well, just so you officially know, Tom was dismissed for breach of company policy, okay. It wasn't your fault, it was all on him, so I don't want you feeling any guilt about

I wasn't too sure exactly what would be waiting for me when I made it home, so it was with some trepidation that I pulled my car in beside the carport at our house a couple of hours later then quietly entered via the back door. The first thing I heard was canned laughter coming from the lounge room, where my family was watching some American comedy show. The next thing I heard was, 'Is that you, Gray?' 'Yes, mum,' I answered. Seconds later, even before I had finished closing the back d

Young Grayson is still a bit of a newbie at this dating game! I'm sure he'll catch on!

Yes, we have various Macca's meals ... a burger of your choice, fries and a drink. 😀

After leaving work I didn't go straight home, as I was too wound up over what had happened that afternoon. I also believed that my mother would quite likely explode when she saw my scratched face and torn shirt and found out what had happened, so I figured I needed to think about things for a little while first. Driving down to Riverside Park, the same place where I had sat with Uncle Bryan a few days earlier, I parked my car and got out, then decided to take a walk along the paths which we

Do you have Ian's number? Maybe we could introduce them?

The look of anger on Mike's face would have been enough to scare the bejesus out of just about anyone, I thought. It certainly had the desired effect on Troy and Dan, as they backed away. They wouldn’t have been quite the same age as Mike, who had told me he was twenty-five, but seeing as he was one of the managers within the store and they weren't, they knew when they were beaten. 'I don't know what you punks think you were going to do, but it ain't happening,' Mike said. He gave me a quic

In Yeah, and like Gray has been there only a couple of weeks ... how could he be expected to know everything if his boss keeps bailing out when things start going to shit? 😉 MP

It was early afternoon when I made it home and as I walked towards the back door of the house, I found my mother out in the back yard working on her vegetable garden. I changed course and walked over to her, before taking a seat on the logs that made up the border of the raised garden. 'Everything okay?' she asked me, as she straightened up and then stretched. 'Yeah,' I replied. For a long moment she sat there studying me. I got the feeling she was weighing up in her own mind whether s
