Indeed it was a great chapter. However, something about Captain Wilcox makes me shudder. That man is evil, pure evil! Speaking of captains, one of them got Granger's sweet ass. That was definitely to my liking.

This is basically happening in my back yard. I didn't realize at first how bad this could be, but people are dying in Mexico. There have been several cases already in The Metroplex. This is scary.

I have been considering this for a while. There's already another tiger around here, so alas, I need a more secure identity of my own. I considered Tim LeBrock, but there are already several Tims around here, so I used my initials. And no, LeBrock is not my real last name. It just sounds a lot better than the real one as a pen name.

I have decided to begin releasing chapters of Dark Earth 2. The biggest change is the POV as I have decided to go with 3rd instead of 1st. While it can be risky, I think it is important. There's a lot going on, and it seems more suitable for the flow. For any of you have been waiting, I apologize. It took me a while to get back into it, and now the story will be told. I have also been thinking about combining this one and the planned third episode in the Dark Earth series. This one will be longer than the other, though the chapters are somewhat shorter. Chapter 1 starts about six months after the end of Dark Earth: The Prophecy. I've also got an idea floating in my head. It is likely to be a short story, and it will be very dark. The story is not of a sci-fi or fantasy title. It's more of a horror story. I've also got an idea for a story about a demon hunter on the horizon. It's going to be set in modern times (for the most part), but I have to work more on the plot before I start writing it.

Yeah, Charlotte's Web is one of my favorites as well. It makes me cry though.

I've thought about leaving a time or two... it's either someone pisses me off or I piss someone else off. Regardless, I always come to my senses. I think we all take breaks from time to time, and that's understandable. I have gone through a few periods where I'm lurking, believe it or not. Then there are times when I post a lot. It just depends on my mood and what's going on in my life.

As I normally do when I reach another 1000 posts, I have decided to start a topic. As everyone I can see, I'm now at 5,000 as of this post. This time I'm not giving advice. Instead, I am talking about something that is close to my heart, metal! These are the guys who make you want to bang your head, climb a stairway to heaven, or have some love in an elevator. Without these awesome vocalists, we wouldn't have such awesome hits as "Enter Sandman", "November Rain", "Silent Lucidity", "Tom Sawyer", "In The End", "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing", and "Mama I'm Coming Home" just to name a few. That is just more proof of how low quality the story is. The author of the book obviously has anti-gay sentiments and apparently did not do well in English when he was in school.

In life, no matter what circumstances occur, you can learn from it and become stronger than ever, even with that tinge of sadness and anger that never completely goes away. It's great to see how he's risen above it and created a good life for himself.

This is an example of just how greedy governments can be. It shouldn't even be an issue. She's simply taking care of her horses.

This can be complicated. Some people, for whatever reason, are vulnerable to untrustworthy, and otherwise unworthy, partners. It's a sad reality of life. They know the warning signs but simply ignore them. One has to wonder why, but in the end, you cannot make people's choices for them. Sure, you can warn them if you have information, but people are stubborn. I agree with James for the most part.

I don't believe a book with slanted views of gay people is not appropriate for victims of child molestation. There's already a negative association, one that is far from deserved, especially when one considers that many gay people have also been victims of child predators.

For me, there's more of a fixation and/or fascination with it.
