    Smallville

Yeah, I wish they'd bring back Martha too. I happen to think Season 9 will be the end.
  2. Okay, I've been watching the show since Season 5 (though I've seen the earlier seasons as well). It is one of my favorite shows. Season 8 was supposed to be the final season. However, it appears that there will in fact be a 9th season. The season finale was great, and now it looks like we'll finally be seeing the beginnings of Superman. It's also worth noting that Smallville is the longest running Superman series to date. Not only that, but Tom Welling is the hottest one ever. His eyes are just gorgeous. Is there anyone else who's going to suffer Thursday night withdrawals now that Season 8 is over?
  3. Labels can be quite problematic. I'm probably on the opposite side of the fence. Gay is the label I chose, not because I'm necessarily 100% attracted to men but because my attraction to men far outweighs any curiosity or whatever towards women. To me, there are two main components to attraction. One is the more physical. The other is emotional. Emotionally, I am attracted to men and men only as far as I know. Am I capable of falling in love with a woman? I don't really know. But then there's the physical. Of course, I find men more physically attractive than women by a long shot, and there aren't a lot of woman that I do find attractive (sadly). However, I will notice when I woman has nice tits and ass (sorry if that seems too crude), so having a sexual encounter with a woman is not totally out of the question. Another aspect is the whole thing where there's something men can do that women can't (without some kind of artificial device). Thus, men are more likely to suit my needs in general. So I kind of see where you're coming from. Oh, and there's also something about a woman's softness that I really like.
  4. The dance floor seen was quite hot. By the way guy's, I'll take the comment a bit further. When The Wardroom starts, there'll be seamen full of semen everywhere. Was that subtle enough?
  5. Unfortunately, it does not work that way in the US. Someone has to press charges unless it's a severe injury. I wish they'd change the laws in the US. These abusers need to be in jail whether the victims like it or not.
  6. I'm so sorry to hear that. It's dreadful. What people don't understand is that it's a vicious cycle. Before someone physically abuses another, there is a great deal of emotional and verbal abuse. By the time there's actual physical violence the damage has already been done, and of course the abuser starts being nice. Soon it's right back to the way it was before, and the cycle of abuse starts all over again. Leaving the relationship is difficult for the victim. It does not matter if the person is straight, gay, bi, man, or woman. I hope your daughter does leave before something really bad happens. It must keep you awake sometimes.
  7. Happy birthday, Rob! Have a good one.
  8. For series, I said Voyager. I loved that one. It was awesome. I chose the following as my favorites movies: II-Wrath of Khan III- The Search for Spock IV- The Voyage Home

    Fighting Back

    That's awesome Eric! You're a true hero.
  10. Good for you Kev! I've been accused, at times, of not being bi friendly, but I am one to see things as case by case. Gay is the label for me, but even I have my curiosities. I see you're beyond that point, and that's great for you.
  11. Typically, people think of domestic violence as a man beating up a woman, but it happens in the gay community as well (yes, that includes lesbians). I just talked to my friend. She has a son who happens to be bisexual (if I remember correctly). Anyway, he was beat up and raped. He ended up in the hospital. It's a volatile situation. Also, my aunt was in a relationship, and her lesbian lover beat her too. Does anyone else have any horror stories? I found an article on the subject as well. I posted it here.
  12. Chapter 10 is awesome I must say. Are Max and Marcel finally going to get together. I hope so.
  13. The way Max blew him off afterward disappointed me. He even made accusations. That was just wrong.
  14. I voted that I'm not afraid of death. Am I ready for it? No I am not. There are aspects of life I have yet to experience, like an evening in Paris and standing on top of a mountain. As for whether it is the end or the beginning, I say it is the end. Nothing, in my view, lasts forever. Humans are capable of a higher plane of existence than we were eons ago. Our understanding of science grows with every passing moment. We're always on the edge of discovering something new. Religion goes back to times when the human brain had not yet evolved to the point of being able to ultimately accept death and its permanence. Furthermore, I found out something interesting several months ago. I had went to Youtube and found an interesting video. In fact, I blogged about it if I remember correctly. Basically, modern religion mirrors that of old. There were so many similarities between Jesus and deities of past civilizations to the point where it must not be coincidental. Thus, I find it hard to believe in something that is simply an altered version of something else. I have come to the conclusion that religion is nothing more than a manifestation of fear and is also a way of maintaining order in a society. Since most, if not all humans, are capable of realizing that death is nothing to fear and that you can be a disciplined person with high moral standards is enough for me to strongly feel that religion is something that humanity does not reap benefits overall as a civilization. Rather, I believe it holds humans back to a narrow view of the universe. Death is not something to fear. Continuance is simply a matter of procreation. That is how a civilization lives on.
  15. Happy birthday, Comsie!
  16. Why thank you, Kevin.
  17. There's been a death in Texas. This is starting to scare the shit out of me.
  18. More than likely it was momma for me, but I don't know for sure. Not even my mom remembers for sure.
  19. Welcome to GA! Yes, this is an awesome story, and so are all of Mark's stories. He truly is in the top 5 best authors on the site, and I am totally an addict.

    Baby?

    You're incorrigible.
  21. Yes I do.
  22. For some reason, AVG anti-virus is not fully functional on my computer. Apparently, the resident shield, the component that scans online files is not working properly. I have done a few things to try to fix this issue. First, I created a new Windows account. That didn't work. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the program. What can I do to fix the problem? Anyone with a high level of computer knowledge would be most helpful.
  23. See what I mean. No one even knows who I am, hence the need for a new identity.
  24. How can one have a story set in 1991 without Nirvana, and a song or two from Metallica's self-titled album. "The Unforgiven" would be a good one. I would say "Nothing Else Matters", but it was not released officially until 1992.
  25. That's just how he rolls. He doesn't want people to know what a softy he really is. By the way, I'm really enjoying this story. I have only one complaint. I have heard nothing about Brad's son.
