  1. I Beg your Pardon by Kon Kan
  2. Happy Quarter Century Day Drewbie!!!!!!
  3. For California, BJ's is close for deep dish, but doesn't compare to a real chicago style deep dish crust. BJ's crust is too 'airy'. CPK is unique because they have non-traditional toppings (their BBQ Chicken pizza is decent), but CPKs crust is so-so. And as Hamen Cheese said, they're expensive for what you get. All time favourite is Lou Malnati's in Chicago. They have that 'perfect' pizza crust..not too thick, not airy, and a nice hint of butter. Their tomato sauce is not overly seasoned which chunks of tomato, and like most chicago deep dish, the sauce is on the top .

    He's MINE!

haha, we'll just get him when you're sleeping (like we did Saturday night - our time).
  5. Compared to the total GA membership, the number of active members who actually post in the forums is small as it is, let's not find more reasons to discourage them and any lurkers.
  6. *shudders @ the flashback*
  7. It seems like he spent the better part of his senior year in H/S dealing with losing his best friend. College has probably been easier for Matt without having Andy so physically close (outta sight/outta mind). Maybe we need a chapter from Matt's POV to clear things up .
  8. I read this article in the most recent Out Magazine "Meet Alex and Erastes, two straight women who write erotic man-on-man fiction for other women. Confused Yet? - Cintra Wilson explores publishing's hottest new trend" and found it very interesting. It's hit upon many areas that might be of interest to many on GA. Here's an online link to the article. There's good info for those of you considering getting your work published. Take Care®, Vic
  9. I had forgotten about how much sex there was in this one. haha, nice. While I enjoyed the chapter, I also can't help but think about what it represents....The next chapter will be totally new material! One thing I did notice in this chapter, was how you described 'unzipping' pants: ..zipped down the fly... I'm not sure why that jumped out at me or looked odd. I'm used to seeing/hearing "Unzip the fly". No big deal, just wondering if it's a geographic thing (like Soda Vs. Pop).
  10. Happy 31st Birthday to one of my favourite authors!!!!! Enjoy your early 30s cause soon enough you'll be in your mid, then late 30s
  11. Happy Birthday Cuz!!!! I hope someone made a big old batch of pancit for you!
  12. Happy 26th Birthday Cia!!!! Hope you get an awesome cake just for you!
  13. Welcome Richie!!! You better pace yourself and try to make The Ordinary Us last, because other than a few short stories, you'll only have With Trust left. Enjoy! Vic
  14. Happy 22nd Birthday Jules!!!! Hope you have a great one!
  15. My online persona on GA is basically me, but like in other situations in life, I vary how much I let my hair down. For example, work Vic is much more reserved & professional versus hanging out with friends Vic. Hanging out with Family Vic is also a different person. Tipsy/Drunk Vic is just a monster . GA Vic is also different than all those other Vic's. The interesting thing about online personas is that they're mostly based on our typed words . While I don't think I've flat out lied, I probably have accentuated the positive about myself while downplaying or ignoring the negative. It's hard to look at yourself objectively, but based just off those words, I wonder how I would perceive myself if I were a 3rd party. I'm betting they'd be different. When I started adding GA friends to Facebook, I kinda worried a little about those two worlds colliding as well worried that there might be some discrepancies in information . But the melding has been good. I'm still more reserved on Facebook as I have lots of family & former high school mates on there, but overall it allows (forces) me to bring more of the real me into all of my worlds. Take Care®, Vic
  16. Great chapter The last scene (where Kyle was explaining why he wouldn't date Andy), reminded me so much of the 'debate' we had in the Bisexuality thread - would you date one?
  17. Happy 69th Birthday MikeL! *can't help but giggle at the number of years*
  18. Oh, I got that. What I didn't get is how some Dom fans were mad at Aiden for saying the line, especially when they as the 3rd party observers knew what Aiden meant.
  19. you look like my ex! Sharon would be a great mom to a gay son...I don't think she envisioned a gay son-in-law
  20. Jesse should let Luis (as well as Logan) go after Nick. I'm sure between the two of them (as well as access to various pets) they can come up with something creative!
  21. Yay, a dog days of summer surprise! I'm going to have to re-read a few chapters to get some bearings on this story.
  22. That won't work anymore. Dom got a snow plow installed on his truck, thus snow no longer sequesters him in indoors. Enjoy the hiatus
  23. Was it really too late? If I were Matt, I would want some kind of verbal acknowledgement. I've re-read the last part of Ch 18 a couple times, and while Andy sensed that there was non-verbal realization on both sides, does Matt really know? It still seems like there's so much more the both of them have to say to each other. *sigh*, it's just me, I like everything sorted out. But just like in real life, it doesn't always work out that way. Anyhow, very great, emotional chapter. Until Ch 17, I had assumed the 'More Than words' scene on the beach had been pulled from the re-release, but here it was were it always was in Ch 18. That's one of my favourite and most memorable scenes. Take Care®, Vic
  24. I had postponed reading the re-release of CrossCurrents until it got to around Ch 21, but last night I thought it would be safe to start reading a few chapters at a time, hoping by the time I finished, new chapters would be out. However, I got sucked into the wonder story again, and reading a few chapters turned into a marathon session finished with Ch 17 (by the way, what a place to leave off:wacko: ). I really enjoyed getting back into CrossCurrents. At times feeling sympathy for Andy, you can't help but get thouroughly annoyed at how he's misreading the current situation with & how he's treating Matt. I think what's most odd to me is that Andy's father & Angie aren't doing more to help Andy get back to normal with Matt. They know that Andy wasn't reading the situation with Matt correctly. Perhaps even though they know Andy's wrong, they're both the type not to meddle. They know it's something Andy & Matt are going to have to work out on their own. I guess I'm just used to my family & friends who seem to meddle more . I certainly feel like smacking Andy up side the head. Anyhow, that's for bring CrossCurrents back to life!
  25. haha, it must be the first signs of early onset alzheimers
