I tried dating someone older and for a while it was fun. He was mature, thoughtful, understanding, considerate, and let's face it sex was amazing. He had the experience and I had the energy to go extra innings, let's leave it at that. So what ruined it: A simple call to his cell raised a few questions and things just happened from there, you can fill in the blanks. I didn't know he was married to a woman, who he later professed he had no love for, but they had kids. That was a double whammy. Then, he asked if we could keep this relationship going. I, in no uncertain terms, said, "Hell No" Look, I understand people have complicated issues, complicated relationships/obligations, but I am not going to be an accessory to another man cheating on his family just because he can't come clean about liking guys. I don't want him to leave his family either that's just stupid and irresponsible. My feelings for him weren't that deep like a harlequin novel. I don't know if breaking up was right, but it felt right. There has to be a line in the sand somewhere in gay relationships, can you as a gay man really love someone who is hiding himself and pretending to be something he is not? Can you be happy even if he leaves his family and becomes your full-time lover? I answered both questions with No, but that's just me. I want to love someone with a real heart and honest convictions to what he believes in. I want to know that he is responsible and trustworthy enough to be by my side and myself by his side. This to me goes down to the very heart of trust.

Not sure if people know, but Hallmark runs short films now too, which include LGBT ones. The weird part about Hallmark is that most of their movies are made to inspire that warm fuzzy feeling, so you will purchase stuff on sentiment: So what do you think Hallmark is trying to sell us here:

I am a coffee and tea drinker as you can tell from my view point. Oolong Tea, Black tea, and Jasmine Tea are among my favorites. For coffee, I prefer French Roast, Vietnamese, and Ethiopian for the tastes that resembles bitter dark chocolate with earthy notes. I actually like a specialty drink called Yuanyang , which combines both coffee and tea in one drink, from a few bakery/bubble tea shops nearby in Boston.

I was having a debate with a friend about Mountain Dew versus a cup of coffee, he thinks Mt. Dew is not that bad since it has less caffeine in equivalent can versus a cup of coffee. However, I'd argue that the chemical composition of Mountain Dew being much more sugar based and having BVO makes it a worse drink to get the energy boost. It was a fun discussion without any type of controversial context, so I thought maybe some GA readers and writers can also chime in and even approach other popular soft drinks like oke, Pepsi, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, or some local stuff we never hear off here.

Single, but not celibate is my current status I want a relationship, I want to find that special guy who will complete me, but I still have needs as well that a companion offers. I'm very selective about who I am with and I advise the same for other guys still searching for love and someone dependable.

Well, why hasn't anyone mentioned Stargate SG-1 at all.... It was the longest lasting Sci-fi show of the 2000's, beating Trek. Also, the show runners and writers of Stargate franchise came from the "new" Outer Limits of the 1990's, which in my view were some of the best explorations of Science diction ideas from alien invasion to viral plagues to Technophobia to Predestination vs. free will. It really showed the show's theme that you can go from the inner mind to the "Outer Limits"...please stand by Science fiction is an exploration of possibilities, not limited by what we can do now, but what we should or should not do in the foreseeable future. They add some real depth even when they are making a comedy on themselves, this is probably one of my favorite lines about the genre and it's not even from a series regular:

Yellowcard is breaking up! :(

Brexit is sort of weird and makes you think, but Yellowcard's break up is fucking sad and depressing. I grew up on their tunes from their fun tourhful SoCal melodies in "Ocean Avenue" to their mature tunes in "When you're through with Thinking, Say Yes" and "Southern Air". I am a huge fan of theirs and the fun incorporation of Violins in Rock music. They're leaving a great legacy of awesome music though: This song got me into listening to them: This song makes a lot of sense as I turned 29: I get tears every time I hear this song, (It also makes me think of Sandy Hook shootings now, sadly as well): Yeah, this is my kind of music, introspective, fun, experimental, nuanced, emotional, and realistic about the human conditions.

Good luck Matt, Like you I re-evaluated my life in 2015 and left For-Profit Insurance to work in Non-Profit again. The money was not as good, but I had to move on and seek something beyond work from my life. I too am still single, but I am now completely out to everyone, even doing an interview for a magazine for a profile on my life as a Blind Asian Gay Accountant. I am no longer afraid to just tell the world "I like boys!", not just a few friends and close associates. People change throughout their lives, some for the better and some for the worst. It is sometimes a choice of your creation and sometimes a choice of fate, but remember that you always have choices and chances in front of you to make life as you want it.
