  1. I did not know this toy existed, What were they thinking?
  2. I'll ask when Androids become more plentiful and possible partners Philip K. Dick would love how true his predictions are coming into play. One interesting possibility, I am playing with right now is using facial and body configuration of a deceased human being with an android programmed to have their voice patterns and some basic functions (sexual intercourse among them). Sounds a bit creepy and semi-Necro, but it is within our technology now to do right on the cutting edge.
  3. This is cool in a Blade Runner/Asimov I Robot way It can also turn into Terminator series really quick and scary: https://youtu.be/YohO5zoEu_w The first models are now coming in, she just needs a wig to give her hair
  4. This ain't a contest, but seriously, I am re-evaluating my childhood There is a lot of phallic symbolism, every culture has a different meaning for it, ranging from divine to tasty
  5. Innocent Drew has a dirty mind, I am shocked!
  6. Lol, some people are size queens even in cartoons, (Technically, it's American Anime) Now to really warp your sense of art, don't worry it's all clean and if you think you see something dirty, then you have a dirty mind :
  7. True, Also this is a cover version, I tried to get the original on, but for some reason GA won't let me paste the video link from youtube Oh well, I like Olly and no there is never enough gay music
  8. Oo, I am falling love with this guy: Does this song make me too gay though Let's try this one:
  9. How does that work for gay guys? That's interesting though, I wonder if ancient people would look upon art, sculptures (especially those Greek nudes), and wondered "hey, I like that, wonder if I can find a guy like that?"
  10. This piece of art just caught my eye and made me realize, how many times artists use Phallic imagery in their work without actually going into literal Avante Garde/gay porn territory. Now as a warning, do not use my thread to post actual ones in violation of GA rules, this is about art and design with this concept embedded within it To me, it's really interesting. On a sexual conscious level, I get why I am interested with the whole single gay guy thing going for me Still, there are heterosexual artists that use phallic art and even designs (Washington Monument is an obelisk, but come on, who hasn't wondered why no one considered how much it looks like a phallus) Have you guys ever noticed phallic imagery around you? Anyway, this was the artwork that inspired me to create this thread
  11. Alabama's Supreme Court Ruling to limit LGBT adoption rights reversed by US Supreme Court
  12. 0's and 1's is coming back soon! I have been busy for the last two months between a trip to Vegas and some other stuff at work, but I am back into writing Book 2. Currently I have 2 opening pieces edited and ready, but I want to give myself at least 8 chapters lead time just like Book 1, which worked well. It will be a scheduled release of 1 chapter a week, with an occasional special like Memorial day or July 4th Independence Day. As for other projects, I had an interesting thought the other night, hypothesizing what would happen if a certain Racist, Anti-Mexican, and Belligerent candidate wins the Presidency. It would involve a gay couple's changing dynamic from equal partners to something very ugly (though potentially for you S&M fans, fun). I am calling it The Price of "It" No I am not going full on Authoritarian, but since the mood of the US is heading that way, I might as well reflect the sentiment. The story will be a one off project for me (If you want a long story, it will not happen until Book 2 is finished and I still have a G rated story that I promised an old friend and an old universe that I used to write in online.). Also, I will have explicit sexual content in Price of "It", so kids sorry, you're too young for this one Now as for other things: I am putting my political rant in spoilers I'll leave you with a non spoiler quote from a man I admire from History: "Let me tell you what is coming. After the sacrifice of countless millions of treasure and hundreds of thousands of lives, you may win Southern independence if God be not against you, but I doubt it. I tell you that, while I believe with you in the doctrine of states rights, the North is determined to preserve this Union. They are not a fiery, impulsive people as you are, for they live in colder climates. But when they begin to move in a given direction, they move with the steady momentum and perseverance of a mighty avalanche; and what I fear is, they will overwhelm the South." Sam Houston, Governor of Texas against Secession
  13. I feel bad for kids born today, they age normally, but only have birthdays every 4 years
  14. Sims editor is cheap and a decent animated approximation, plus you can program them to your liking
  15. Well without plugging my story (Oh wait I have it in my sig ), I've written some sci-fi/modern fiction in the path of other luminaries like Philip K. Dick, questions of ethics and technology, political and social conspiracies, and issues of perception and reality. Science fiction is a wide canvas: Heinlein, Asimov, and Clarke were great in their respective themes, but there are others too like Sagan with Contact. Science fiction and Fantasy co-exist pretty well, there are even writers of the Science Fantasy genre: Aliens that behave like Gods, human genetically engineered to be monsters/demons, or Techno-mages As a writer of multiple genres myself, it depends on my mood; sometimes I prefer humanist plots, other times techno-sophistry.
  16. Ummm....I don't want to speak politics on this thread, but if you do like To Kill a Mockingbird, please read Go Set a Watchman with an open mind, it's a very different kind of story and it is in many ways has the opposite themes of To Kill a Mockingbird, you might feel cheated by it and offended by the divisive language. The book was published by a new company under Rupert Murdoch's holdings. I'll give you guys fair warning as I have no problems reading comparative stories with controversial themes. You're next story should be about a Southern Chef then: you will get decadence, soulfulness, lust, and of course gluttony. I'd love to compare pigs feet recipes
  17. Harper Lee has died at age 89 I read To Kill a Mockingbird when I was 14 in high school along with Mark Twain/Samuel Clemens's Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. No I don't want this to be a posting about Race or any touchy political subjects, but a memorial for a type of American author, the Southern Novelist. Her story was amazing and touching; there were many complicated stories within her narrative from nascent themes of female adolescence to rich southern lore to the overt issues of race and justice, not to mention I had a feeling that Dill was secretly crushing on Jem even before I found out Dill was Truman Capote I wrote an essay for my English teacher "that's what I thought" and she told me in private that's likely what the author meant
  18. Something that is more uplifting for a dark world:
  19. Happy Birthday Curti
  20. Hot Kitty Boys! Anime is becoming reality
  21. I am post timing this blog entry to coincide with Secret Admirer contest, I don't expect to win, but if I did I am really grateful to all the readers that chose my story, despite how different it is from my writing style. So the big question for all the readers, why did I write a story like this? It's so tragic, so detailed and impact with a subject matter that is definitely Left of even Bernie Sanders , and holds a lot of questions about the nature of national principles versus geopolitical strategies. For me the Valentines contest at GA celebrate the concept of love, secrets, and adoring from afar, but what if the concepts were morphed into a narrative with bigger implications. I want to push my writing ability and go to new places that I have not yet explored stylistically, outside my recent series "0's and 1"s, few people have seen my writing on modern issues. You might have picked up that I was using Boston as the center of my story, if you paid attention to details like the old Dockyards, Suffolk County morgue (where Boston is located by County in MA), mentions of the chase down Commonwealth Avenue, and the bitter hatred of the last generations fight between Steve's grandfather and White Roman Catholics (Busing battle and Race riots of Boston). I know the history and geography of my home very well, like many mainstream writers I have taken to add it to my story for flair. There's a dark reality to the US dealings with the Middle East, a subject the book 2 of 0' and 1's, which this story has a tangential relationship to, will craft. I took bits from News and bits from imagination on the chemical weapons being used by terrorist fighters, plus the nature of clandestine operations within the intelligence community. As for the tragic love story, it is basic Noir genre romance: think Maltese Falcon or Casablanca, which I referenced in this story. We're still human with our own emotional and sexual needs that make many things possible and many things ugly. Adam loved Steve as a partner and he loved Casey as a sexual partner after Steve died, you can't fault him for his frailty or his need for human attachment. As for Casey, I'll leave his secrets to Book 2 of 0's and 1's, basically, he did love Adam, but that grew out of a lie and out of need as well to compensate. LGBT relationships are not simple Boy meets Boy, boy falls for boy, and happy ending. We have different motivations for different things. I hope you guys liked my story and stay tuned for future tales from WL.
  22. It's a sign from the Heavens! Neat discovery, wonder if that means a region of space just got time dilated by a few million years in comparison to us.
  23. I am fine with reading English plays, the Brits have a decent history of adapting plays to stories and vice versa. They're so cute in the fan fics Which brings up an interesting thought, I will check with Renee later, since we do have a HP section in GA and playwrights are far and between among us.
  24. JK Rowling Announced 8th Book "The Cursed Child" Yay! My inner child is re-awakened and is ready for more magic, Quidditch, and slash fiction. "Fan Girl Scream" Seriously, I am so glad JK Rowling is continuing her stories and I can't wait to read of the post Voldemort era. Personally, I am holding out hope that she does allow a major character to be openly gay, bi, lesbian, or trans (in a world of magic, I'd think trans would be easier with just some polyjuice potion). The crowning jewel would be if either Albus, James, or Lily turn out to be LGBT and main characters, but I won't hold my hopes up so high.
