  1. Run Puppy run!!!! Joey is an ass. He has a two year old son that his mum sees on Mondays and Wednesdays. What kind of father is that?!! Jack is an ass. "I don't dislike children; I just dislike that child." That child is his husbands son. He is an innocent 2 year old child, really just a baby. Joey and Jack, go straight to hell, do not pass go! Move home Puppy and find all new people to hang out with. You need a complete do over before it is too late! Gotta love it when a story is so well written, it gets you all worked up, feeling a whole spectrum of emotions!
  2. Hunter is Hunter and he isn't really the problem. Puppy is the problem. Puppy is drinking, partying too much and making bad decisions. He is trying to be an adult when he just hasn't reached the mental maturity to be an adult or to even be out on his own! My thought is he needs to take a step back (actually a step forward), move home and spend time being part of his family. And Mr. Mathews, you should be taking as much time as you need to make your new house feel like home. As long as you don't abandon the story, I will take as much or as little as you have time to give and feel very grateful!

    R.I.P.

The beginning had me a bit worried, but it turned out to be a rather sweet and funny chapter. I did miss how Nicolo's leg was injured by something biting him(?). I'm really enjoying the story and love Bryce's character and know he has a story to tell!

    Chapter 14

After reading this chapter my feeling of anger and hate toward Gary and his crew has soared to a whole new level. It is definitely a testament to the author for being able to evoke such strong emotion towards a character in a story. I hope for my sanity, that good starts to overcome evil in the next few chapters!
  5. It's so great to have the Puppy saga return! I'm curious to find out if Cindy still plays a role in Puppy's life.
  6. Pietro Spada performs the Cantabile from Clementi's Sonata in g-minor, Op. 7, No.3
  7. Some autumnal music for an October day . . . Malcolm Binns and the Philharmonia Orchestra, led by Nicholas Braithwaite, perform William Sterndale Bennett's Adagio for piano and orchestra.
  8. "Order your own 'Big Dick' today! *supplies limited*"
  9. Stendhal was never shy in saying he got more out of Paisiello's music and drama than any other composer. A sensitive, and exciting performance like the new one below shows why Paisiello will always grace stages the world over. Simone Perugini and the Tuscan Opera Academy Orchestra perform the overture to L'inganno felice ("The Joyous Deception")
  10. Rumors? The man was out. In his own words: "Even more than MGM, Disney was the most conservative studio in town. They were growing aware. They weren't stupid. They could add two and two, and I think they were beginning to suspect my [orientation]. I noticed people in certain quarters were getting less and less friendly. In 1963 Disney didn't renew my option and let me go. But Walt had me return to do the final Martin Jones movie, The Monkey's Uncle, because those were money-makers for the studio. In the 1960s all my social life was underground Gay. It was my own life. I kept it separate from work, where I went on publicity dates with Annette Funicello or Roberta Shore." -- Tommy Kirk* ------------ *Interview reprinted in Queers in History Keith Stern (Dallas 2009), ps. 254-255
  11. "Well . . . maybe just one."
  12. Hugs. I'm glad you wrote this piece to help deal with your grief, and I'm moved you posted it for us to remember similar snapshots in wallets, in albums and on walls. Thank you
  13. Allowing that the composer may not have achieved the credential of "Dead" yet, here is John Rutter's Chanson

    Chapter 5

So all it took to tame the Beast was Beau reading Harry Potter to him ... did he fall asleep out of boredom ... was it the soothing sound of Beau's voice ... or, that he truly cares about him and is actually attracted to him, which calms him and provides him a sense of peace?! I'm sure in time, all will be revealed! I also enjoyed finding out more about the staff and residents of Keller Hall. I especially like Chip and hope this little character appears front and center in future chapters! The story is well written and has enough twists to keep me entertained and wanting more!

    Chapter 4

I'm totally hooked on this story. I hope the boys of Keller Hall are able to bring Gary to his knees, begging for mercy! Can't wait to find out if Beau will be able to tame the Beast! I'm guessing the road ahead will be bumpy with lots of potholes. So looking forward to the next chapters!
  17. Josef Suk and the Prague Chamber Orchestra perform the Andante and Rondo from Mozart's 7th violin concerto (and, yes, he wrote 7!) Andante (2:54:39) Rondo - Allegro (3:02:27)
  18. Listen through to the end of the trio. This is some of the most inspired writing for musical stage ever achieved
  19. BTW, you may enjoy reading this WW2 account by one of your countrymen https://gayauthors.org/story/ac-benus/the-great-mirror-of-same-sex-love-prose/6 (I would PM you, but you have that feature disabled by being full all the time, hehe)
  20. If you have the time and/or call to write about Ha and Zure, I would really, really enjoy that. I always enjoy your writing. Thank you so much!
  21. I'm sorry, by my reckoning not your best work. Stephanie is messed up; yeah we've known that. Robbie is crazy about Nathan; yup we've know that too. It was stupid for Robbie to have sex with Stephanie; yeah I think we all saw the baby coming. Come on Dodger you have done much better than this. Anyway thanks for an update after 6 weeks.

I think we have all felt despair and loneliness. It is a sad sick to your stomach feeling. Yet it is how one copes with it that is the key. What we do to not let it become the center of our being. How do we fight it off that is the question?
  23. Cleaning standards don't align? A universal situation and since no gravestone mentions spotless floors, I feel it's a minor issue. Floors, houses, material things come and go, stay healthy and happy inside yourself--adapt and/or invent. This thought this won't eliminate dirt and it may structure an atmosphere where more respect is offered to the person who makes the good life happen. Be glad for the subconscious; you words will linger to reemerge later in your children's lives. Encourage them to study Microbiology. As a kid, I reveled in using the Electrolux floor-cleaning attachments and the smell of the paste wax that came in a yellow tin. That old machine drowned out all the noise around me, my socked feet stepped across the reflected light, I inhaled the unique aroma of carnauba from a distant palm. No one bothered me for hours as I pushed the whirling brushes left and right--I imagined kids around the world with brooms, mops, shaking rugs outside in the same moment. A spiritual task, cleaning floors, it developed a perspective that the repetitive motions of mundane chores were akin to chants of the monks. v
  24. Michael Tippett: String Quartet No. 1 - II. Lento cantabile Musical love at first sight Meeting with Wilf was the deepest, most shattering experience of falling in love; and I am quite certain that it was a major factor underlying the discovery of my own individual musical ‘voice’ – something that can’t be analyzed purely in musical terms: all that love flowed out in the slow movement of my First String Quartet, an unbroken span of lyrical music in which all four instruments sing ardently from start to finish.
