    I was typing until late at night. The night was warm. The balcony door was open. And then the creepiness got me myself. I looked at the balcony door warily and thought: "I'd better close that door." And so I did. *lol* Thanks for reading. Glad you liked my story.

    Thanks for reading and commenting. I'm glad you liked the story. Oh, the bathroom window. I didn't catch this when I edited my story. Sorry. Regarding my writing style...English is not my first language and I don't know any native speakers of English in real life. I spent a few months in Toronto. But that was years ago. So please forgive any mistakes etc. I try my best and I'm happy I can post my stories here. Writing stories in English is just a hobby of mine. I hate to write in German. It just doesn't feel right.     Thought to be extinct, until… I read on this on the internet. I followed a link that I had seen on a news page. ‘Scientists make dead alive’. The title had captured my interest. This sounded like a sensation and I clicked the link out of curiosity. However, the article was not about what I had expected to find. They had not revived a corpse or brought back to life a deceased. No, the article was about scientists who were working on the genetic material of extinct species. They had made prog
