I totally agree with you both... I hate it when they show kids getting hurt on that stupid show "Funniest Videos". I find absolutely NOTHING funny with seeing people, kids or adults, getting hurt one way or another. I find it stupid and my blood pressure shoots up every time... When they started showing up scenes like that is when I stopped watching the show... How can anyone 'win' money by videotaping things like that? How can people laugh at it? Totally distasteful.

I don't think it was money that prompted David to fly... I think asshole father took him on a punishing guilt trip making him see how Marcus' career would suffer by them being together. I'm pretty sure seeing the pictures and what the outcome would be once being made public would make David run fast. But once Marcus finds out what the real deal is and how his father had EVERYTHING to do with David's running I hope Marcus will then realize he needs to get as far away from his father's control as he can and go get his David. I really believe David is suffering as much as Marcus is. Then again, We'll have to wait for the next chapters and see where it takes us, right? Hurry up Carl! You got me at the edge of my seat waiting!!

I really had fun editing this chapter. It deals with so much emotion coming from Sam and Billy and at the end with David also. David's gonna have to work double time with appeasing Billy's heart break. Candace is so annoying I also wanted to throw a hay bale on her poofed up hair!

You now can breathe easier and won't have to wait a week, a month, let alone a year I have the latest chapter and will be editing it ASAP. Oh and.... It Is Fan.Ta.Bu.Lous !!

It's not fair for anyone to jump at an author's throat not knowing what is happening in their daily life. Are you aware that a member of NightOwl's family has been going in and out of the hospital for the past couple of months and he's had to take care of her 3 children daily and most nights since her husband is driving OTR? Are you also aware that another member of his family has to have daily care and just a couple of members of the family are available to care for her, him being one of them? Are you also aware that he does EVERYTHING in his house? Even with an exhausted mind as he has had for quite some time now he's still writing almost nightly going to bed at ungodly hours and getting up early to start all over again. Sometimes I have to encourage him to stop writing for a couple of nights and rest; a tired/stressed mind can only take so much. But even so, he's still writing, even if he's having the dreaded writer's block in which time I try and help him out of it. Instead of pointing your finger, why not try to encourage him instead? NightOwl and I have been going back and forth with the newest chapter of IS.... It's almost finished. It's your prerogative to keep up with it or dismiss it. By the way, He knows I wrote all this, I asked permission before I posted.

Reilly.... Imagine every single book/story (yeah, I'm even thinking Snow White and the 7 little guys!) ever written read by every single person in the planet... Don't you think there will be a thing or two out of all those books where someone WILL be offended by? If all the writers out there decided to not write something that is going to cause pain or offend others this would be a very sad and empty world because nothing would be written. Please don't feel bad by writing what you did, after all, fair warning is fair warning and the readers choice to continue past that point.

Reily, I also agree with those who have already posted their replies. As Nephy stated, if someone does not like the way the story is going they have an option... Don't Read it! I did not find anything offensive nor traumatizing about the chapter. I am sad that you took the chapter down and was hoping to see the next one very soon. I really wish you would NOT have listened to those who complained and left the chapter as it was. It is part of the story... YOUR story, not theirs.
