    Chapter 4

Absolutely everything is a test! There's really a lot to be said for the brotherhood concept. Other men who will have your back for a lifetime. Something to be earned indeed. :2hands:

    Chapter 3

Hauled into a broom closet twice in a matter of minutes! I can't imagine what's going on in Jacob's mind in reaction to all this. I'm thinking that both these closet incidents were planned. Given what the Brotherhood is capable of, it'd be a walk in the park - even getting Alex to do what she did. Anyways, I recognize that you aren't about to hand over any plot details. Never a dull moment - loving it!
  3. You and the cliffhanger tool are no longer just acquaintances. I suspect there's a torrid affair going on there. It's a slippery slope, I suppose. This was an excellent chapter! The scene where Coop does the emergency parent thing, well, you nailed that. CJ got what he needed and Devon got to see that Coop wasn't going to undermine her where the kids were concerned. I was very proud of Coop. Devon showed quite a bit of vulnerability there. I hadn't expected that. My gawd, she's human after all. Now I have to re-think my opinion of Devon. I believe Kyle did himself a big favour, for his own happiness and Coop's as well. I'm beginning to believe that Coop is better off when there's fewer choices. Spencer's line....you're the NATO of sex, had me laughing in the aisles. I miss Spencer.

    Chapter 2

hehehe Ok, so this is fiction and I have no difficulty with an author stretching the truth - mainly because the truth is usually ordinary and, well, boring. But a 4-hour jack session!!! I'm thinking Guinness Book of World Records here. Let's just say, that would be totally outside my personal experience. I'm thinking Steve and Paul should have run naked with their brothers. We'll see. Talk about "up close and personal". ...and we've only just begun.

    Chapter 1

Well if this chapter is any indication, this story promises a great ride! Decent dialogue, good characters and the pace is perfect. Nicely set up! Definitely going to read more.
  6. I'm totally with Canuk on the scary prose observation. That scene in the hospital with Tori, dream or not, was had me totally on edge. You had already planted the hypodermic thingy in my brain. I was totally waiting for Tori to raise her arm...the last thing Logan sees is light reflecting off this 6-inch chrome plated needle... I ran and hid. Well, I wanted to, believe me. So I'm asking myself, what is this story without our charming and most favourite big haired bitch? After coming up with absolutely NOTHING, I decided that this was your problem, not mine. Yes, I gonna stick with that.
  7. You are absolutely not allowed to kill off Arthur! The Gates of Hell located on Wall Street? Imagine that! Who would have thought!! At this point, Samuel has killed more demons than Arthur, Jayden and Michael put together! There's irony there somewhere. So the heavenly hosts are lying around in Eden playing their harps while all this is going on? Actually, they're probably playing video games! Needless to say, I'm anxiously awaiting the next chapter. Thanks for this story!

    Hostile Territory

Now there's an odd alliance, Rajar and Brandon. Never would have guessed at that. So I figure that Ralph is in cahoots with Rajar as well. Otherwise he would have brought Brandon to Keith. So, rather than let her partner execute a bad plan, Sumna went off with no plan at all. I'm sure there's irony in there somewhere. Brandon's plan to create a diversion? "I'll get caught." You have to admire its simplicity and, I suppose, its effectiveness. The logical conclusion, however, is Brandon ends up a corpse. I also found it odd that Brandon didn't question Sumna when she announced that she and Jassa were criminals on their home world. Jordan and Jassa are going to be so pissed!
  9. This chapter was a blessing - from the point of view that it didn't leave my stomach all tied up in knots like chapter 6 did. So thanks for that. The scene with CJ was totally cool. It had to bring Cooper some relief. Me too. I believe that Coop has made it clear that having his kids in his life, including shared custody, is priority number 1. Everything else is a distant second - including Chase. I like that Chase is pursuing Coop. Chase certainly used all the right words in that last scene - they would have worked on me, that's for sure. But, frankly, I think Coop needs to tell Chase to cool his heels, at least until the custody issue is settled. The court has bought into the publicity threat and Cooper needs to as well. Then, of course, there's Kyle to think of. I have so many questions - but they're all plot related. Maybe I'll post something in the story thread if only to see what other readers are thinking. Definitely a power-packed chapter as other reviewers have mentioned. I'm thoroughly enjoying the story.

    Chapter 11

WTF? Everyone changed directions in this chapter. Well, everyone except Julie, she's still some kind of wack job. Jed is now a nice guy and doing Bill a big favour by showing him what a sub he his. Bill's feelings for Tar have seemingly evaporated into thin air after a little chat with Jed. Does Bill talk to Tar about it first, like in person, no, he calls him on the phone and explains, submissively no doubt, that what he really needs is to go get tied up in Jed's dungeon. David is now in the driver's seat with Tar after doing absolutely nothing. Last, but not least, Julie is explaining to Tar exactly how his life is going to be from now on. Congrats, Tar, you're a father! WTF happened to the great story I was reading?
  11. Ok, I'm loving this. I certainly felt like I was right there in the courtroom. Court drama has always been a favourite. I blame it all on Perry Mason - just loved that show....nd I'm dating myself again. Of course he was a defence lawyer and it certainly appeared that he only defended the innocent. He usually made the DA's office look bad. Maybe you're not a Perry fan. So I have a plot question and I understand if you can't comment. What came of the other 5 defendents? Typically they would be tried together, correct? Super chapter, Andy!!
  12. I was thinking more along the lines of Tori coming after Logan wearing a strap-on! That was just an incredible chapter! We no doubt have left the realm of high school pranks where the goals are humiliation and isolation. This was an attempt on Logan's life. The police will be involved. The fact that Tori publically threatened to kill him now takes on greater significance. I'm beginning to believe that Tori is one sick girl. Eric continues to flip-flop. He is yet to come clean about his own complicity in all this.

    Chapter 7

Lots of great action in this chapter. That was quite the elaborate contraption the vampires sprung on Shade. Ok so the wolf leaped towards the copter/the box and then....."Stay tuned next week, folks!" What a drag, man! Oh well, all things come to those that wait. Great chapter.

    Masks off!

So, you decided to go with another cliffhanger this chapter! Got to keep the readers coming back, I guess. I imagine, even for a demon, it's quite the boast to be able to say, "I always break the condom." I almost died laughing when Arthur came out with this line - I was expecting Jayden to come back with some kind of sharp witticism - but he was kind instead. Really enjoying the story. Thanks.

    Chapter 18

I must say I'm becoming quite the whore for this story. However, I shan't elaborate on that. Perhaps sometime you could have Gatling give a lecture for us on "The Political Implications of Two Men Screwing". Superb chapter!! Oh yesh, and one more from Canuck
  16. Ugh! That was total angst! I feel like a leftover plate of spaggetti noodles waiting to be thrown into the garbage bin. ...and that's the good news. Dude, you're killing me here. I'm hoping that once Coop is through with the ice pack on his nuts, he'll pass it to me. Do you send "Get Well" cards to your readers by any chance? Ok, let's regroup. Devon 1 and Coop 0. That first goal is always important; it's a big one. I can't say I'm feeling Kyle's confidence at this point; however, I am ready to buy into his "this ain't over" deal. Game on! Thanks for the chapter, Jwolf!
  17. Happy B-Day, Mike!!

    untold

Pain and hurt are always difficult and dark. Thanks for this verse. Keep well.
  19. I can't say I have ever seen this many reviews of a single chapter. Bravo! I sensed a wee bit of lust in that chapter. Well done!
  20. Ok, this is my first review of your story and, well, that's a good thing for both of us. Let me just say that I often felt weary along the way. I'm pleased to report that the weariness is gone. Two general comments - you're a damn fine writer and your characters...well, if I may use the vernacular, your characters grabed me by the short and curlies and wouldn't let go. I've been wanting to say that to you for the longest time. At least now you know why I kept slugging it out. As for this chapter, please believe me when I say that I have never felt so incredibly moved by a story as I was by the Blake/Haze scene on the beach. Tears and the whole nine yards that go with that. Thanks.

    Chapter 6

So, how about a few more chapters inside the cabin? Who needs a fireplace with these three around? I'm not sure what Shade meant when he talked about one of them changing the others. I suppose that will become clearer in future chapters. Great chapter! Thanks.
  22. This is all so slanderous. I'm going to have to report this....to CJ of course. I believe he's the best goat to deal with this severe character defamation. Cia - did you bleach CJ? His eyes are red, not his lips! However, you did get one thing right - he's standing on a barrel, not a cliff. CJ never goes near cliffs. He said so himself.

    Child's Play

Ok, so right now I have the Carpenters song, "It's only just begun" running around in my head. Somehow I feel I should apologize for that. I was wrong about Steven. He's not a player. He's an absolute sweetheart. Now I'm going to worry about him. Colateral damage and all that. Your characters are becoming more real to me with each chapter. I wanted to point out one typo - at least I think it's a typo - because it made me laugh. You used "ore" instead of "oar". Then I got to thinking maybe he meant iron ore. Anyway, I'll stop there; my self-entertainment is often only funny to me. We are definitely in the "here, have another can of whoop ass" stage. While I may need therapy before this is all over, I'm totally loving it.
  24. Well this certainly explains everything for me. It's simply miscommunication. The typos are being misinterpreted as cliffhangers! I'm glad this finally settled. In light of this new evidence, all polling results must be declared null and void!

    Chapter 9

Ok, that was a shocker. Frankly, S&M makes me want to barf. I find it so dehumanizing. I fully accept that some people are into it. So as long as it's safe and consentual, you'll not hear a thing from me. So, is it Master Jed now? Well at least Tar's eyes are now wide open as far as Jed is concerned. I believe the scene between Jed and Tar in this chapter takes on more significance in light of Doc's story. In that scene, we saw Tar enjoy getting the advantage on Jed. Now maybe that was just a little payback for Jed's arrogance and having Jed's horse piss on him. We'll have to see. So, has Bill been to the dungeon? It sure is looking that way. Although, it doesn't fully explain Jed remarks about Bill - speaking of which, Jed must be the town's gossip girl for male sex. David continues to be a non-entity.
