Sounds like a delightful time was actually had by all; and Thomas is right, making contacts is what those type of evenings are for, that and raising money. Jonty's mother will be all a twitter that this appears to have worked out for him; and it would be nice if the charity Thomas is involved in works out a deal as well, but we will see. Glad that Keith is getting to be more comfortable with thise types of dos and with being introduced with Thomas as boyfriends. Can't wait for the next update.

I do think that Til is perhaps right on this, Mikulsa will be friendly until he decides it doesn't suit him. We can hope it doesn't come to this, but we will see. I too never even considered how Bzup reproduced, and I am sure that is actually something important to discover, it just did not cross my mind. Bzup is a little too trusting, but I hope that his desire for knowledge doesn't lead him or the others into anything that cannot be handled. Let's hope his side listens to him as well and tries to understand as much as Jem and the Jem likes do. Let's hope that the encounter with the others of Bzup's people go okay.

Starting to think that Justin should not be allowed anywhere near water that has any type of current or tide involved. Well, you can tell the officer didn't buy the story to start with and was more troubled by Justin's young appearance. Ian and Shawn, more Shawn, were worried about being seen, but called out the calvary when it was important. Scott and Justin are just getting started, but what a lovely way to start.

A few really great stories on these lists.

A lot of things going on; just because someone is a great studio musician, they don't necessarily translate that to the stage or vice versa; and not eveyrone can do every genre of music well. Kevin will handle the smaller venues, but what about anything really large? Glad that Kevin and Eric are moving their relationship along, but neither seems to be in a real rush, and that is probably for the best.

Well, I think Greg ultimately handled that better than I was expecting him to; and honestly, the new set of photographs might truly be empowering for him. Len truly cares about Greg, and Greg is learning to be who he is, and the money will do some good for them both. Damn him, but Heyward actually did the right thing. Oh, he is going to get something that he wants, but still, this I think will help Greg in the end. I could see Vaughn having to get more involved in this, with Heyward gone and I think that Greg and Len trust him on some level that they don't the rest of the group. Nice chapter...

Loved this chapter, the kids were a surprise but a real treat. Arya would agree with me. Well, neither Kai nor Adam passed out or fell over or anything, and the kiss was truly sweet. Kellan wanted to make sure that Adam knew how much this meeting meant to Kai. What a real delight, and so glad that Arya is good with Kai, but somehow, I was sure she would be.

Ugh, I hate Christmas; but will give these a try anyway. LOL

Well, really, this was actually anticlimactic. No fire breathing dragon, well at least not yet. I actually was wondering when they would get Bzup something else to sleep in or stay in. I do worry that those among Bzup's group that were not in favor of his actions, might well do something aggressive that would lead to further conflict, that would be my big worry at the moment. Never thought about it, but Barasesh is right; this group has been on the planet a long time with no one that really needed to be negotiated with, there would not be anyone really trained to do that as it is a skill that isn't needed. Ambassador Jem has a nice ring to it. LOL. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Ah so Bzup's people are of two minds or maybe more about how to deal with Jem and his people. We now know that at least some of the other ships crew and perhaps the ship itself is still out there, just captured. Bzup seems to be learning at an accelerated rate now that his eye has come in; never thought about how much easier sight would make something like that for other species. Bzup came to observe and learn, and the transmission he made when he went back into the water was what he had learned at that point, and maybe a message to back off as well. This hunt went much more normally; Jem and Nice make a good team, although it is Jem that seems to have the better instincts, this may well be because of his background in hunting on land. And I think it is important that they figure out why the mountain siffle has changed its behavior as there does not appear to be any alien involvement there, but strange it seemed to happen while the rest of this is also going on. Well, Mr. Mikulsa appears to already be trying to assert himself and he isn't even on board yet, plus, sounds as if he has already made assumptions about the situation, and you know what assumptions can do. It can make an ass out of u and me both. LOL

Well, Marc appears to be a much better than average pilot; and able and willing to tech a few middies how to fly better, while getting paid, which puts him closer to his goal of getting a mining ship. Marc knows that the issues that Janek has, but is it flight issues or something more troubling? There seems to be both, but does Marc know about both, or is one hidden from everyone involved so far? So, is Marc not able to handle the weapons or defense system? Seems if you are able to be the pilot you should be able to protect and defend yourself and your ship. Or was it just easier for his father to handle those systems while Marc flew the ship? Not sure. Let's see what happens next...

I am glad that Kai finally told Megan, and Kellan as well of course. But Megan so she knows he is not going to be at her place, which had been the plan. She honestly took it better than I thought she was going to; of course, the Doc is distracting her, so that probably muted her response somewhat. I really do love the interplay between Megan and Doc. It is just too funny. Kellan seems much more relaxed about this; and he was also very observant about the pictures. I can't wait for Friday...

Oh Lord, just when I am ready to despise Calvert, he does something like this. I think in some ways it was easier for him to talk to and explain the situation to William than it would have been for George. William is much like his father, but in some ways and manners more back to George's parents. Aleander will be a scamp, white Elizabeth and Charlotte are destined to greatness. Elizabeth being able to associate with the Princess Charlotte of Wales would have been a true honor; well, she was the Princess's cousin by blood but still. And it would have been a blessing for the Princess as well, as she was rather isolated by her father. George needs to stay calm where Caroline is concerned, but I think we all realize why that is so hard for him. This was a delightful way to end the weekend.

So Bzup can now truly see Jem and the others, and how strange do we look to him. LOL Glad that Til seems to have fully come around, I that that is important. Well, humans no matter where are rarely uniform in their thinking, why would we assume the aliens are as well? This just keeps getting better.

So, Marc has an admirer, Janek. A little older but not quite as experienced, so to speak. LOL Well, did not quite beat the track speed for the day, but a little closer than before. The three trainees all braced when Marc took the helm and went after the top speed for the day, wonder how they would do going through an asteroid field with him at the helm?

Okay, Justin may not have known better, but Scott certainly should have, there is a level of stupidity that you may not come back from.

Love how focused Adam was on getting everything ready for Kai. And getting it done in time to have most of it out of the way before he transferred from the hospital. And I agree with Adam, the idea of the splash of color above the door handle to mirror each room was great. Anything with a bath or kitchen takes forever, but surprised on the long turnaround for the beds? Haven't bought one in about two years, maybe that has changed. The flow and give and take between Adam and Kai is amazing. They seem so simpatico when they get to conversing. What a wonderful treat this was for a Saturday morning.

I just cannot say enough good things about this chapter. The flow and writing were truly first rate. I just am amazed at how well plotted and developed this story has been and seems to continue to be. The characters have totally drawn me into this, but the story development has added so much vibrancy to this tale. Bzup has grown by leaps and bounds as a character; he is truly unique and so compelling to me. I love how he interacts with Jem and the others. There is a childlike naivete about him, but it is edged with a native intelligence that is obvious as well as some truly unique abilities. Jem and Nice are both keenly drawn to him; and I think even Til is thawing a little bit. So glad that Master Terpin has already made the determination before the bureaucrats arrive; maybe I have just made them boogiemen in my mind, but I do believe they will cause issues, if not outright problems. And they will try to limit or eliminate Jem's interactions with Bzup, they will view him as a too young and too limited compared to their vast experience and intellect. More of fool they will be because of it. Can't wait to see what happens next.

OMG, I love this movie....

Well, Kevin liked to have made a disastrous mistake. You never drive that far, especially through country like that, while tired, sleepy, or upset and he was likely at least two of the three. Kevin is just now realizing that Eric really does care for him; and he knows how much he cares about Eric. Hope they are both along with the rest of the guys able to put this all in the past and move forward.

Lovely chapter, and I do so like Keith and Thomas finding new outlets to try and experience. Find out what they can enjoy together and what they will need to do separately. I really do like Caroline and Nate both; they care so much for Thomas. While they want to make sure that he and Keith are doing okay; they also want to make sure that Thomas has a clear view of what his father's issues were with him. Maybe the old friend will help, but it might not be what they think. I just love the interaction between all of those in the story, but the growth between Keith and Thomas is just wonderful to see.

I really don't understand Peter's reaction and behavior. I don't doubt that he loves Justin, but does he like him? Even more sure that Jenny knows exactly what is going on. Let's hope this continues to go well, you know there will be some bumps in the road, let's just hope they don't cause anything major.

Well, that was a delight. I am so glad that Megan and Doc hit it off so well. I know, Kai is probably right, and she will try and run him off, but I sort of bet this one isn't that easy to run off. Adam knows himself and his limits. For some hospitals are just nothing something to ever visit while you are conscious. I will bet money that the room for Kai will be perfect before he arrives. I do wonder how Megan will take this, when Kai gets around to telling her. Excellent.
