Morrisson will keep Harris away from him if he thinks he is compromised; and I think Harris will stay away if he feels he is compromised at all. I do worry about this; governments are just as capable as big business of having someone eliminated or disappeared. Fear that it happens more than people realize. So ready for Corey to be in the Realm, I think it will help him recover in ways that the others can't even fathom yet. I do hope that Michael and maybe some of the others will be able to communicate with him, so he won't be away from all those he knows. While bureaucrats are never the one to truly make policy, they can sure delay and gum up the work that the politicians are pushing and demanding when they want to. Can't wait to see what happens next.

As always nice to look back and make sure we all did not miss anything important with our busy lives; or fighting off hordes of killer snow men. LOL.

A lovely chapter, and I am so glad that they seem to have survived their first real holiday together. Some don't, you know. Being in a different locale with someone that you are just getting to know, can be a real challenge. I enjoy garden and house tours, some are very well done, others not so much. But sounds like Owain and Colin both enjoyed them, maybe for different reasons. I really like the German couple, maybe someone they could communicate with and get some suggestions for visiting their neck of the woods. Hate to say it, but sounds like some typical American tourist, especially high end ones. They really want to visit the world, but never leave home. They want to eat, drink, sleep, and experience the world, as if it was their daily routine. Think it is smart to maybe not have Owain invest in Colin's business just yet. They need to figure out where they are going as a couple first, plus, is Colin's business even something that Owain actually cares about? I mean it is Colin's so yes there is that; and he thinks they did a great job at his place, but the work itself, is it something he would want to be involved in? Can't wait for the trip home and getting to share what they experienced with friends and family.

Love how all of these families pull together with each other and especially their own. They always do what is needed; and that is such a rare thing. I don't know, had a chill run up my back when the unknown magician came in, we will have to see what happens with that. Hmm, a wolf shifter versus a deer, I think I know who i will put my money on. JP/Stef/Brad did a really great thing, although Will is right, they tried to make it seem like nothing. But giving Will and Travis the 100,000,000.00 to pay off Big and Taylor is more than just nice. I am sure they are right and the way they are breaking the company up and re-bundling it probably has made it more profitable, but still. Travis has never had this kind of support in his life since his Grandfather/Father passed away. Will has always had it, even when he thought he didn't. But they both know it is special. Loved how Travis handled the situation with Will and deciding how they were going to move forward. It was done just seriously enough that Will understands how important it is to him, and really them both. I do really like JJ's therapist. She is the kind that everyone really needs and all to few get. She truly wants JJ to have a great life and get to the point that he is happy and running his life the way, he wants with only minimal input from others. But she knows he isn't there yet. But she builds him up every time they see each other. Love it. Can't wait to see what happens next. Will in Greece with all those hunky athletes...

I am so glad that they have enjoyed their holiday. I never understand those that go on holiday together and feel that they must spend every moment of every day together. There are always different things that one wants to do, so do them. Ah the food, and the gelato, and the wine; Italy is truly a lovely place. Owain said what he said in jest; but as he quickly realized, Colin will always probably be somewhat sensitive about his weight. I think Owain handled it all rather well, after the fact. Ah the dreaded money issues; Colin is right though; communication is the key. Yes, it is Owain's money, but they are in a relationship together, so staying ahead of the issues are smart. Plus, Owain knows enough to know that he hasn't always been good with money, because he hasn't had to be but with this amount he may need professional advice. I think doing the charity thing is great; but pick ones that are local to your area and that mean something to you. Plus, research them, some are great, but some only look great on paper.

Honestly, how serious can we take anyone that believes vanilla is better than chocolate. LOL

An extra day, what you do with it will say a lot about you...

Harris and Morrisson are going to have to step up their game. Morrisson is right though; while this group will report, as bureaucrats, they will have little says in the final analysis. They might be able to slow or speed something up or down; but the decision will be made about their level. Malcolm was interesting and his reactions to not just the people but the natural world around this area was very telling. Corey is going to cause Morrisson to have fits before he is through. I can't wait to see what all happens. The guys are giving this group a special trip; one they will remember for the rest of their lives. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I swear you would think that falling down a ladder could break someone's neck and we could be rid fo them; but no... Calvert has the devil's own luck. LOL I thought the meeting and dinner with Gambier was most telling. Granger has truly found probably the only way to get at his Majesty, but would the French have the gall, guts, and balls to try it? Granger's diplomacy and basic decency makes it very easy for others to want to please him, work with him, and accept something that they might think is wild as a possibility. Gambier truly probably doesn't think that anyone would attempt what Granger is suggesting, but because it is Granger suggesting it, he will at least listen. Granger has been blessed with luck, much of it his own making; but finding and being able to keep Dr. Jackson has truly been one of the luckiest breaks that he ever had. Can't wait for the next update; let's say, Tuesday?

Colin's mother, like many, will just have to learn to deal with everything. It may take her some time to wrap her mind around it all; but in the end, she will either accept it and they can move forward; or she can get stubborn and be left behind. I am glad that Owain is able to talk to her and she seems to get along with him, at least superficially. Anything to keep the lines of communication open. And Colin just needs to be honest and upfront from this point forward. Miles is a wanker, and Annalise just may not be willing to deal with his outdated attitudes any longer. Can't wait to see how the trip goes.

LOL, JJ cares what Jacinta thinks, even if she is just the maid. I am amazed at how quickly JJ and Kris have connected, not just on a physical level but oh so much more than that. I can't decide what I see for their future, but I am sure the ride will be entertaining. JJ handled Susannah just perfectly. She overplayed her hand; but at least had the brains to realize that she had and to take JJ up on the money and the offer of the ticket back to England. She may try to dine out on this; but I would not think that was the smart move for her to do. Kris has a job that takes up a hell of a lot of time. JJ will have to adjust to that; and we all know that JJ doesn't adjust to many things that don't suit him, but we will see. You can tell how much he really cares about Kris because of how much time and effort he spent getting the clothes just right. I do worry about Will in Athens. Him around a bunch of hot athletic dudes might cause problems. He and Travis need to get their relationship agreements in place so that neither hurts the other unintentionally. Glad that Marie is going with them; she is someone that Will can always lean on and trust. Can't wait to see what happens next.

I was wrong as usual; I am horrible at this game.

Fabien may find that this brings greater responsibility than he probably thought it would, I hope he is truly ready for it. He obviously has a great built in support system, but in the end, it will be down to him to make the right decisions. Rhy is respectful of his elders, as he was taught and probably comes naturally to him as well. But what is his idea? We did not get to find out... Cameron and Taylor are just so much fun. Can't wait to see what happens next...

Excellent chapter, and so much to consider with what was learned from Sandra. I understand Joe to some extent, the majority of money was earned over a hundred years ago, and they don't even know how much of it was directly or indirectly from arms. The idea of setting up a charitable trust to manage some of the money and perhaps focus it on doing things to improve the lives of those in the area they grew up in. Find ways to focus their charity and have some control over where the money is going and how it is being used. It is daunting to find a charity that doesn't waste significant portions of their endowments. Glad that Owain wants to get Colin involved in this with him. Hope that Mhairi listens to her son in this instance. Just giving it away to assuage some type of guilt really would not benefit anyone much. Would be great if they could find some of the old records, maybe their father was a packrat and kept some of them for some unknown reason and they will come across them somewhere. Sandra and Jo seem great. And Sandra comes across as a dedicated researcher. Maybe if they get the money and there is more than expected, they could fund part of her research and use that to decide how to set up and dispose of some of the income.

So glad that they rescued Corey and doing so may help keep them all safe as well. But they can only go so far before they get him to the Realms and the real help that he needs. Morrisson and Harris are hard pressed to understand and adapt to what is happening. But they will both come out swinging. Can't wait for Harris to get his first exposure to our group in person. This just keeps getting better and better.

Always appreciate the look at the week past, and what is coming in the upcoming anthologies. Life gets busy, and it is easy to miss something.

JJ can seem flighty, bitchy, and superficial; but this should remind everyone that his is a Schulter, and he can play for keeps. When you come from a family like his, you can't help but learn a few things, by osmosis if nothing else. I think the way that Kris seems to be so into JJ is great. I think he is really smitten by him. Not sure totally why yet, but maybe he just sees in JJ everything that he wants in a partner, and it caught him off guard. We will see. Bellona is the type of woman that can move in any circle. But she relies way to much on others to know the things and people that she doesn't. And I would think she is not the kind to forgive a mistake that can make her look unprepared. JJ's reply to Bloomberg was perfect. Loved it. Great chapter, can't wait to see where Mark takes us next.
