Another wonderful chapter; and I am glad that Elijah and Tyler are back out on the road. I know they are close; but both having dreams of technicolor wolves seem a little much. I am sure it means something; and I have to wonder if the fact that Ashton and Austin have different color eyes has something to do with it; or has their pelts been dyed and they will be a strange color when found? Love that they had a birthday for Ray's birthday; being able to just do something normal must be a relief. Love how Sebastian is using technology to try and make the life of the hybrids easier. Tyler misses home; and he has a great one to miss. But have to wonder if he and Elijah will be returning there when their adventure is over??? Keep up the great work, can't wait to see the search for the twins progress...

A powerful chapter filled with so many conflicting emotions; just like real life when something like this happens. I truly do believe that eventually the human race will manage to extinct themselves; and it will be because we can never remove the hate from the hearts of so many of us. I think it is easier for people to hate then to try and figure out how to work with others and love one another. Hate allows you to feel superior to others and so many of our leaders use that desire to feel better than someone else for their own evil ends.

Did not say that... But they are currently human.

What a great gift; even better if it is the more advanced shadow dancer rather than just the super cool shadow melder. Can you have more than one gift? Being good with knives has an advantage to swords or other bladed weapons. They are often easier to conceal and use; Kavan says he is not a killer; but would he for the right reason? I worry that the two men are his brothers; I don't think he will ever just walk away from this human family...

What a delicious chapter; so many new things to contemplate. I am starting to wonder if Simone and Warren are as careless as they appear to be. How old is Konstantin? Is Mother any older? What a really wonderful story this is turning out to be.

Let's hope Kavan is able to pull this off. Mother is a bitch; and Simone isn't far behind. She may be a good leader; but this was a stupid move if Konstantin is as powerful and dangerous as it seems.

@astone2292, first of all; suck it up buttercup. You are a writer, if you ever thought you were going to make everyone happy you were delusional to start with. As I stated in my earlier comments; I felt the writing in this chapter is as good as any other chapter in this story. That being said; I do feel that what took place just came totally out of left field and at least for me; did not fit with how the story had progressed. But guess what? I will freaking get over it and so will everyone else. While it is great when others love how your stories go, that is not what is truly important. What is; is that the story you have to tell is told in a manner that you feel represents what you are wanting to convey. The story is the fruit of your labor and in the final analysis all that really counts is that you feel you told the story you wanted to tell. Do NOT, and I repeat Do NOT; let anyone else's words or opinions stop you from writing what you want, how you want. You are a gifted writer that ended a story in a manner that caught a lot of your readers off guard and they reacted. Going over the reviews, I do not see anyone that seemed to attack your writing ability or style; true many were not happy with the resolution, but you do not have to justify that to anyone. Please take a few days a digest the comments, then see how you feel. But remember, not one comment indicated that those writing it were going to stop reading your stories...

I feel certain that my idea of plot twist number 6 has taken hold. I can sense you feverishly rewriting the upcoming chapters to ensure the right amount of sadness and joy that both the story characters and your readers will feel at Zach's death...

Wonderful chapter; and another success that was played out in another unexpected way. I like the idea of Kage still being there on some level. While Elijah may have issues; Tyler and the others will help him deal with them. Always great to see Rosalie and Silas; and they are able to impart knowledge that might be lost otherwise; perhaps Sebastian should have them give a series of lectures to the pack as a whole. Knowledge is something that should never be wasted or forgotten. You will never know when it will lead you in the right direction. Ray may have more issues since his level of communication is not as strong; plus, losing his grandfather just before being rescued will be hard to deal with, but he will have some great support around him. Cameron seems to be adjusting; but you know there will be moments and times that will still be hard to deal with. Sebastian idea of keeping everyone together as much as possible was spot on; he is just the best Alpha...

Okay, I am going to say that this chapter was just as well written as most of the others; but I so feel that the resolution came way out of left field. So much of Vincent's self is tied up in his abilities. Even being alive may not be enough for him to fully recover from this fight. The level of interference from Terik and the work around that she used just seemed totally disjointed and punitive. If Vincent had been given the choice to give up his abilities it might seem more acceptable, this just seems capricious on a truly cosmic scale. Mason being the one to kill Stefan does not bother me; as Vincent's Alpha at least on some level, I find this acceptable. But can their relationship even handle Vincent totally losing all of his abilities. How many people are going to be gunning for him and he will now have no way to fight back except as a wolf, which is awesome, but may clearly not be enough. I truly felt this chapter just did not fit the essence of what I believe this saga was all about. Kudos for the writing and technical ability; but I still am trying to absorb how this appears to be going to play out...

#6: Zach dies in his sleep from an undiagnosed heart condition... It solves everything. I guess if you won't use my suggestion; I think that Stef is right and the threesome may be the best option. I mean honestly, how often has Stef been wrong in his life about anything sexual, so option # 1.

OMFG... I honestly for a moment forgot how truly fabulous Stef can be. I know, hard to believe anyone could forget that but... I truly dislike Zach, but since I don't see Will giving him up at the moment; Stef is right. A three way with Will, Zach, and Travis would solve a few of the issues. Travis and Zach could stop hiding what they have from Will; Will would hopefully understand that Zach and Travis have something that works for them and gives each of them something they need. Will could figure out just how he might be feeling about Travis. So unless Zach is going to die in his sleep; it might be the best solution for the moment. I cannot wait for the meeting with Cam. The meeting with Evelyn will be fine; but Cam may very well discover the true meaning of Alpha when he meets with Stef and Will. This new business is something that could benefit more than a few people in the families orbit, as well as the family itself; but if Cam thinks he is going to be the lead, he needs to think again. He might end up running the new business; but only because he is being allowed to. Okay, we need to talk about the fact that two of the three guys that Travis has slept with are having sex with his sister. Taylor is cool; but do they just have the same taste in men or what. Can we say, therapy please... @Mark Arbour, just when I think that you can not get any better; you do....WOW...

I am just in shock. Those of us in the gay community know how quickly something can escalate to violence. A seemingly random act can cause a minor incident to become violent. Add in the color issue; and it can be so much worse so quickly. There is an inordinate amount of internalized homophobia in the black community, especially toward other back men that are gay. Myles has paid the ultimate price for this; and leaves behind Darius, who was his longtime best friend, and Peter, who now must come to terms with what might have been. Darius will need Parker more than ever. This is just another example of why we must continue to fight until all are free to be who they are and respected for that by all.

I am so excited that Elijah and Tyler were able to find and get Cameron out and back to the safety of the McDen. I do choose to believe that Kage is somehow helping Elijah. E&T handled everything with Cameron perfectly once they got over the initial excitement of getting him free. Sebastian helped with that; being Alpha, he helped calm them even over the phone. Hate that Cameron sees himself as a freak; I hope that being around his parents and all of these others that care for him will help him realize it isn't true and that hope still is out there. I wonder if those that did this; maybe decided to say that the process could not be reversed and let the pups hear it. Maybe they thought that in doing so; the pups might not try to escape fearing their families might reject them in this form. Evil bastards, hope they all get what is coming to them. Okay, a few days rest then E&T can have a few days rest; but then they need to get back out there. The twins are next... Great job.

Well damn, color me confused on how this is going to turn out. Never a good idea when higher beings start to get involved. They don't play by the same rules and often don't understand the consequences of what they put in motion. Interesting chapter, with some new interesting characters; but strange to have them show up at the end of the story like this. Can't wait to see how this is resolved.

So glad that Stef has arrived; and I love how Will was able to let loose with his emotions with him, and yet be so JP and Isidore that he knew he was rude to Tom and had to go make it right. I cannot wait for Stef to listen to the tape. Curtis Buck may not realize it; but his time is numbered. Will and Travis click on a few levels. That said, while he is vastly superior to Zach, he does not seem to be on the same maturity level with Will. I know they are close in age; but Will has been through so much and has so many great examples for him to follow that he is just way more mature than his age would indicate. I hope that Travis does let Will help him; he needs a real friend. Actually would not mind a chapter on how Travis handles his Monday... As always, Mark, just too good. Can't wait for the next update. I so want to see Stef and Will in action together. Multi-generational Wonder Twins Unite.

A delightful short story that packs a punch. It is able to evoke a great deal of emotions; and a myriad of them in a very telling manner. Writing and pacing were spot on; and even this brief glimpse of these characters made you want to know more.

Really a sweet little story; and it is truly amazing how much emotion was contained within. I do find it amazing how different people react to grief and it's aftermath. What is it about someone that can instantly attract you to another person. Is it something physical; a smile or a good body? Is it charm or wit or a great sense of humor? Or is it just that special something that truly can't be defined? Perhaps it is different for each of us; but don't we all look for it; and truly regret it when it is gone. Thanks for this special moment in time you have given us. Well done.

I was so worried; Darius was so angry after watching the video of the Morgan citing why he was resigning. I was worried that his anger would overcome his good sense; thank you Lord, I was wrong. What he said was spot on; and delivered in a perfect tone and manner. It may change a few minds of those that were on the fence; but let's be honest, those with as Parker says hate in their hearts, are not going to just change. I can't wait to see what happens with the meeting between the school Superintendent and the Board and those that want Nettleman out. It may be one doozy of a meeting. I am happy that Darius and Parker have been joined by Myles and Peter. I hope that none of them get much blowback; but we will see. Are they sure it was a great idea to go out, even for ice cream, after being on the news like that? A wonderful chapter and a truly gripping story. Can't wait for the next one.

Great chapter; the battle is written so well and flows wonderfully. I am shocked that Vincent thought the truth or reality would actually stop Stefan. Nothing in his history shows he is susceptible to either. He mentions Vincent's father, but not the mother, did Stefan know she was a shadow mage? Fear is the killer and bringer of death.

I swear there should be an Oy Vey icon button you can use... I really enjoyed this chapter. I feel more than a little sorry for Travis. Today, he got to find out his supposed friend is just pretending because his father is using him to spy on him; his piece on the side, Zach, really just sees him as that and probably nothing else; and his father basically raped someone his age. That is more than anyone needs to deal with in one day. I really do think that Will needs more counseling over what all he had to deal with around 9/11. I know he got some; but do think he might need more. Will is such a deep person and there are so many layers to his feelings and I am afraid some of that is still buried. I wonder if Keith finally went to the house and Jeff or someone told them that no one was there; did he call Curtis Buck, is that why everyone is freaked out that no one can find him? So glad they made their escape and went and were able to really catch some great waves. They both needed to be able to get out of their heads and focus on something external for a while; especially when it is something they both love. I am so glad that Will invited Travis to go with him to Maui to surf. I wonder who else is going to go? I cannot wait for Stef and even Brad to get to town. I can't wait for the confrontation with Curtis Buck that is coming; it is going to be so epic. This chapter flowed exceptionally well. Even with the emotional swings, the writing and flow was just so smooth. Bravo, Mark, Bravo...

Let's hope that the search for the one that brought the kara ot is successful. Could Aero be the one; or was he just the one that brought it? Dante and Tani are just so perfect together. I can't wait to see if this is the lifetime that they will match up in and succeed. So, Kinon is the one that fathered this line. Why did he choose to interfere and make sure that Dante had these gifts? Is there a battle in the Septum that we are not privy too? Another chapter soon, please and thank you.

Wonderful chapter; finally a look at everyone and how they see themselves; since the uniform is just a reflection of that to some extent. The interaction between this group is great, I can't wait for the next update. Such a good job.

Love the time that Parker and Darius got to spend together, it was really sweet. Natalie is just the best wingman ever. LOL Honestly, with what Nettleman did to Peter, I am shocked that he is still at the school period. What he did tearing the shirt off him and scratching him constituted assault. No school board in the country could allow him to remain on the job; it is opening them up to a major lawsuit.
