Here is hoping that the Ancients in the Tower take more than a pound of flesh from Rushi, Empress no more... This was just so well written and flowed wonderfully. When the Zure Niven the Earl of Nivenad came forward to stand with Prince Rashan was just magnificent; and the way that Lord Ranka got his comeuppance was just way to good. I would not mind him getting a little more additional punishment because I am sure that he and Lord Revi were thick as thieves. Jihan was right, he had to be the one to take down Rushi to keep peace in the family. And I am going to bet money that Silver Shore is going to have some distinguished visitors soon... Can't wait to see what happens next.

A really well written story about what happens when we take a chance on someone. The writing and pacing were first rate. I really did enjoy the character development and how they were fleshed out, even the auxiliary characters. Story gave a view of how life was and probably still is in many high schools across Texas. The outright abuse of authority and the institutionally ingrained racism that exist not only in overt ways but in the more insidious undercover ways as well.

What a lovely finish to this story... Enjoyed it greatly.

For every great parent you have like Wayne's; you end up with one like Jerry's that should have obviously never been allowed to bred or continue his genes in the gene pool.

Oh what a tangled web we weave.... Can't wait to see how Wayne's father decides to handle this...

I know that we tend to focus on those that are evil or troublesome or in other ways negative; but we must never forget that there are angels that walk among us and do good for no other reason than it is just the right thing to do...

Holy Hell, this isn't enough to just get Jackson and probably several others fired; this is enough for one hell of a lawsuit settlement...

The other person in the room will swear that the football player got licks, they need to get some recorders or something to start documenting this all the time.

Mr. Jackson better make sure that all three get equal treatment, if not, that could be the key to getting him.

Unfortunately in Texas you will find a tremendous amount of both flat out hatred and discrimination and even more that is covered up with sugar and spice but always proves to be just as insidious as the in your face kind...

Had an assistant principal in junior high that was very much like Mr. Jackson; and he ended up getting fired when I was either a sophomore or junior in high school. He never followed the actual rule book and always had a few kids that he had no issue paddling. He finally paddled a kid so hard that his skin broke and he bled. The kids parents went berserk, especially after they found out how often their kid had been paddled. They took the kid to the doctor, who must have hated the vice principal because the report he wrote and turned over to the police made it sound like the kid was one swat away from death. I know police charges were filed over it; but don't really remember what happened with that, but he got terminated as did one of the coaches and the principal himself over all the shitstorm the kids parents stirred up. He had been there for years and was just use to being able to do what he wanted knowing the good old boys would back him; did not realize what would happen when a real ruckus was raised and almost ever woman in town turned on him and his actions...

The assistant principal is a bully. The only way to deal with a bully, even if he is an adult and your are a kid is to stand up to him. Or, I think that Wayne is going to be more than willing to stand up for both him and Ethan, and I know that Mr. Jackson really doesn't want that.

Continued good character development, well written as well and the flow is excellent so far. Have to say that growing up in a small town in Texas in the 70/80's that the licks for having long hair would not have been that unusual; nor honestly would the fact that the assistant principal in charge of punishment seemed to enjoy it a tad to much.

Had someone recommend this; so I am going to give it a try. A good start with characters that make you want to know more.

This is the second book in the Werebears in America series, I hope there are many more to come. While the first book had a definite edge; this one is razor sharp. There are elements of real horror and even on a few occasions a macabre nature. I found some of the scenes in a few chapters disturbing and few things do that to me. That said, do not let me put you off reading this book. It is well written and flows beautifully. We get a number of characters from the first book back and meet some new additions; some grand and one or two rather mad and annoying, but once you read the story you realize why they are that way, at least enough to explain their tortured behavior. This is a story full of adventure and in no small part, redemption. It shows what we all should strive for; but most don't in the end, it is just easier to be average. There is nothing average about this story or the heroes within.

What a wonderful epilogue, so we know what happened to Bill and Gary. The nature of the dormant gene is probably what made Bill the kind of man that was able to go into battle, lead, and be willing to give it all up to help and save others. For Bill, the chance to be a werebear and have Gary as his Papa was really no choice at all; it will allow his body to be healed and we can hope that Gary will be able to help him deal with the horrors of war. I have a feeling that leaving Sean and his friends will be the hardest part about what will be a grand adventure for him. Daniel's place will be a great place to have a school and continue helping other young people to overcome obstacles and make something of themselves. I think that Gary and Bill will prove to be great together and great at helping other young people to reach their full potential. So well done from start to finish; this story just flowed beautifully and kept the readers interest from start to finish. Truly, Bravo...

What a wonderful chapter; and the wedding was just at the right time and I think that because of Nils and how he did not get to wed him that Gunnar wanted to do this with his new mate. Glad to see that Axel and Adam came together; and really love that Gary and Daniel were able to meet and talk about Christopher, the good and the bad. Love how all of these people have come together to show their friendship and love to Gunnar and Mike. Can't wait to see how you tie this one up...

Love the Irish addition; and the idea of him and the Beta/Delta from Texas teaming up has some interesting potential. That said, I could see some issues with it as well. Even the people that have never met Stuerm don't seem to trust him. I still wonder why he tried to hide the fourth person at the meeting in the last chapter. Excellent work as always. can't wait to see what happens next...

We all understand D'gar's decision; but it doesn't make it any less hard. I will bet that the results will show that the old ways of doing things were causing more issues than they were fixing. Talking about he loses that occur toward the end of a fall makes me sad for what is coming. So well written...

Profoundly grateful that the men were able to be changed back; being kindred isn't really a surprise but something they will have to get used to and will all have decisions to make. I guess since Christopher is dead we will never know; but why did he wait so long between the changes? Why start that far back and then go sometimes decades before changing the next one?

Okay, but what about the rest? They already mentioned the felines, so they not get a vote? I am glad that the council is being expanded, but every group should have at least one representative. Now we need to get back and find out what happened to the dababbi...

What a great chapter, so well written and just flowed wonderfully. So many emotions and thought just pouring off the page. Mike needs to realize that Gunnar is having to deal with more than he is and understand that he can't just act as if they were back in their cabin in the woods. The bears and Apollo and Susie have opened a big can or worms, not sure that bears like worms but I know that wolves don't... Can't wait to see what happens next.

Not sure that I like the idea of Axel having that many cubs. We have seen what happens when a Papa doesn't have enough time to fully bond and care for this cub in the first years of that relationship. Not a knock on Axel but not sure anyone could take on that many at once... If they are bear kindred after this and they are freed from being dababbi, they would have to be given a choice and then fine different men to take them on. Not even Axel should be Papa to more than one cub at a time...

I thought this was just a great chapter. Well written and paced. I am glad that Daniel will be able to have a life that he wants to lead. He needs to find Gary and do what he can to help him and then get out there and see some more of the world. Burying his Papa in the garden felt right as well. Axel was the obvious one to take over after the last chapter, sort of saw that one coming. I hope he doesn't kill any of the beta wolves in Calgary... I truly hope the ceremony works and they dababbi regain their humanity. I truly hope they remember nothing, not sure they could really live with knowing what they had done while under Christopher's control. Can't wait to see what happens in Calgary...

OMG, I so loved this chapter... It was just so freaking great. The exchange between Tasha and James was just pitch perfect. And Tasha actually gave him the truth, on several issues, and that was just what he needed. Then the conversation in the car between James and Peter was so funny... Just really well written and spot on...
