Jonathan and Maddox are just too funny. So many preconceived notions that seem to have no basis in reality. I really need to know the back story on Jonathan.

What a wonderful start to this story; Jonathan and Ray are hilarious and the four jocks are going to be perfect foils in one way or another. Jonathon was at fault in his first interaction with Maddox but we will see what happens next. We need Jonathan's back story asap.

What Cyrus went through on his first turning just broke my heart; traditionalist rarely make the best anything except forgotten beings. No wonder his bear is so shy and withdrawn at times; and hate that it caused the rift with his parents, even if it was not intentional. I swear, you get any meeting like that with a ton of toffs and you always end up with at least one complete ass... Wagner is going to have to deal with several people but in the end it might truly make a real difference...

Excellent first chapter; but I think that Rieka and the Tuath De' may actually be worse than Christopher.... Are you basing your version of the Tuath De' on the Irish Folklore; as what you have stated so far doesn't really line up with the Irish myths... Can't wait to see where you take this one... Will be along for the ride.

Excellent chapter, a lot was covered and so much emotion was in every sentence. Glad that the injury seems to be healing, really glad that Zalna gave D'gar the advice about once healed up, that the he could start to recover in the water. Always a good idea, surprised that it isn't standard practice in all the Weyr's... Because the readers know at least some of the future; every time that S'brin, D'gar, and J'rud get involved or have a real serious moment, it just catches me out. A feeling of pain and loss that we know is coming; you want to help them all prepare for it... Glad to see that D'gar got to do some more of the administrative work, gives him something to do and let's him have more of an understanding of what it entails to run a wing...

A wonderful gift, we got a few more glimpses of just how peace and harmony can work. Let's all hope that nothing occurs to change anything during the rest of the visit. This family needs to be able to bond; not so much for the current generations but for the next one. I do love all the little asides about what is going on in the valley, not just the work but how people are reacting to it. Hated the death at the first, but you had to be able to cut out the poison so that everyone and everywhere could start to heal. Can't wait to see another postscript.

Another top notch chapter, writing and pacing just first rate as always. The trip to the mill will be interesting, not sure that Coy will be able to hold his tongue fully or not; plus if nothing is said, where would the drama for the story come from... LOL. Going through this chapter and all the casual mentions; makes you realize how much people in that day and age had to know just really to survive, much less live in a little comfort if they were not wealthy. Can't wait for the next update...

Truly hate to hear about the Sheriff, well Mitch I guess makes more sense now. With the symptoms could be several things, and doubt that just moving to an area with less dust and better conditions would cure any of them alone. We can hope it wasn't something quite so serious that the move will allow his body to heal, but we will see. Well, imagine him finding someone from his past there in this new place. Wonder just what type of past they had, and will they have a reunion full of good humor or recriminations.

Just so thrilled to find this in the story list, I had signed up to get notifications about new stories by you so not sure why I did not. A wonderful start to this new story; I was getting worried about them being out in the open like that and someone did; but at least it was someone that is a friend and that already knew about their situation. Have to wonder why the Sheriff left his position... Can't wait to see what is going on wit them all.

OMG, this was one of the wittiest and most sparkling chapters from you ever... I just loved it from start to finish; and we even have more to look forward to with Will visiting Darius and at a Frat part on top of it all. Loved the comments about the idiot " The Donald ", just so on point. Loved the idea behind the party, have been to a Regency party or two over the years and always thought they were fun. Love how you sprinkle those glimpses of what was really going on at the time the story took place. Glad that Will and JJ were for the most part getting along okay. I do with they both did better with each other. I have a feeling that if JP decides to get revenge, he can dish it out as well or better than Will ever thought about. I am glad that Will is going to help Patrick, I hope they both have fun, plus you could just tell that Patrick had a little stress that he needs to work out of his body... Bravo, Mark, just truly Bravo...

What a truly harrowing journey for Chartley. First kudos to him for learning Cantonese and then surviving the journey to Russia, imprisonment, the fever, and finally making it to his release; thanks to Batu's earlier escape and Granger's uncommon sense and knowledge. Batu must have a true sense of loyalty engrained in him to allow his own tongue to be cut out just to stay with Chartley. While I am certainly glad that Chartley is alive and well; and much like Granger, I too want to know why he had decided to return to England. I always thought he might actually be Granger's twin soul. While I doubt that Chartley will ever get his money back that was probably the root of his being hidden; the Tsar being aware of it will make it harder on those that did what they did to hide him. A few people might end up where Chartley was. I know that Bertie will be happy that Chartley is alive; just hope he doesn't try and drag him back to help with any schemes. What a true gift you have given us with this story, Mark. The exceptional storytelling, pacing, and touches of real life history is just something we all need to marinate on and feast upon.

What a truly wonderful surprise to find a new chapter this morning. I truly do hope that Jackie has remembered or found enough to maybe help them trace or find Charlie. It must be a horrible feeling waking up realizing that something has happened and not remember what it is. Then realizing that someone has wiped part of your memory; but then also knowing that they have left clues as to who they are and you have the ability to track them. I do love the interaction between James and Casper; not sure they will ever really make it as a couple, but their interactions are just funny, loving, poignant, etc...

What a great chapter, I was truly feeling nauseous by the time it was done. It is surprising how well that D'gar, S'brin, and J'rud are all getting along. The rescue by the Gold Dragon was just so well written, this chapter just flowed perfectly.

Really enjoyed this third book in the Werebear saga, some old friends and a few new ones; plus got to meet one of the Ancients. Was well written and the plotting, character development, and pacing were excellent as well. I especially like this one, as I love history and we got a nice dose of it in this story. There were a few truly heartbreaking and sad moments but they just added texture and nuance to the rest of the story. If you enjoy this genre of stories, settle in and buckle up for a true delight.

What a delightful end to this story in the ongoing saga. I do hope there is another adventure in the offing, we already know that Central America was mentioned. So well written and the plotting and characters are just so well done.

Well, Matthias came across much more thrilling and inspirational than I thought he would have... Glad to see that reconnecting with both his cub and grandcub has helped him reconnect to the Were community at large. Both scenes with Axel and Adam and the wolves were hot hot hot. Can't wait for the next grand adventure to begin...

I just LOVE JJ... I have really missed his interactions with Will; they just both no how to get under each other skins so easily. I do with that JJ and Carullo could be together but at this point in their lives, they just are not ready for that. Do we see a bisexual three way in Will's near future??? Just a truly wonderful treat...

Glad that Axel and Matthias made up for lost time. Glad that the rose root worked for Adam on the plane. Loved the time spent with the wolf, just so hot. The tattoo and gift were perfect, not everyone needs a public declaration of forever, one on one pledging their hearts to each other works great as well.

I guess because we know that S'brin won't make it through the turn it is getting harder to stay with him, I keep distancing my feelings for him. D'gar is truly talented and handles many things better than most. Really well done.

Wonderful chapter, so much good energy and positivity. Glad that Vincent is learning to use something other than anger to drive his abilities. Glad that Stacy didn't kill the auditor and that she is going to get to go to NYC with the rest of them. Tierney being spooked was sort of cool. Amazing that he was able to sense that a shadow mage came into his space. Cyrus and Kaplan are just too cute together.

What a wonderful chapter, and so glad that we have Chartley back and in one piece. Can't wait to hear how he ended up in a Russian prison.

Loved this chapter; and the idea that the Real Housewives of wherever are battling it out for supremacy is what the bears call entertainment is just too funny. I can see additional treks to try and find the other Ancients, not just the bears but the other were beings as well. Just too good.

Way too delicious on so many levels. We finally found out why Matthias acted as he did, not that it makes much sense but... Glad they bonded in a way they never had before... Hope the rest of the visit goes well.

So Adam likes Ska??? I so would not have picked that has his musical choice, how interesting... This was a really sweet chapter, just some good bonding road trip vibe and good music; what more could anyone ask for... Getting closer to finding Matthias, the coming meeting/confrontation will be very interesting.

Lenny was just too brainwashed by so called modern society into believing that anything out of the ordinary was some how wrong.... This was just too sad... Glad that they have a sighting of old Matthias, maybe the actual trip will not be too bad, but the meeting may be a bitch...
