Darius needs to check himself; if he tries to fuck with JJ, I will hunt him down and hurt him... Seriously.!!! I really liked the chapter. I have to admit that I want to see how Darius is going to try and handle JJ; but with Stef giving him some pointers he and Will may not screw it up completely. I still think that JJ and Carullo could go somewhere if they only had an actual conversation about anything that matters... I love JJ.... Keep up the great work Mark, can't wait for the next update.

Not only does Granger have great luck in collecting friends and allies; he gets the best enemies as well, the idiot brigade. Sawyer will get his comeuppance, just hope the officers and crew of the ship does not suffer to much. The capture of the privateer and the recapture of the brig was great, glad the Admiral was there for it and will note Hornblower's suggestion in the log. Can't wait for Granger to get back to London. Great job as always Mark...

So sad, I hated the K'mer did not make it. I had a feeling for a while that one of them would not but still caught me off guard. Was hard to read.

Well, we got what I think most of us wanted since the first few chapter; plus we even got to find out what the issue Kapian had with the history on his father. I hope this is not just something that happens and then something horrible happens to keep them apart in the end...

Well, maybe Kapian needs to see the records or try to find the one he was talking about. I can't imagine after all of this that thread would fail to fall, after all the story would get a little boring. I do sense tragedy coming, there is something in the tone of the last few chapters, just can't tell what it is going to be.

I really do think the plotting and flow to the chapters has been spot on. I keep waiting for the next shoe to drop, just hope no one we truly care about is carried between.

Glad that he ended up with an older rider that was able to handle the moment correctly. The writing and plotting on this has just been first rate.

Well, I think that when his dragon rises; J'shon will end up with someone older and more experienced than those in his group. I do think it was funny that the dragons pulled the trees up, it just was a really funny image in my head...

Have to wonder if chasing the raiders is going to go over well with everyone else; but fully understand why he made the decision. Loved the breakfast, it was just hilarious...

I know that J'shon really did not want to impress or plan to stay; but as smart as he is you would have thought he would have picked up on how political the Weyr can be...

So excited that his brother impressed as well; it will be easier on him, even if his father is going to be upset. It is always easier for others to see that someone is a favored child, but the child rarely realizes it.

Excellent chapter; I can tell right now that Jashon is going to end up with a Green. He is took freaked out already about it, so that will play into it.

Love the Pern series and this is a great tribute to it. Was sort of easy to pick who would be selected from the start but surprised the boy can't tell how much his Father cares about him...

This was just a sweet chapter. I do hope that Steve is able to get some help though, David appears to have been very manipulative when it came to his brother. Billy and Per are just too cute. -

Maybe Steve really should be away from David, especially if what he said is true, and there is nothing to indicate it isn't. David seems to have additional issues as well. Erik really has a heart to be so concerned for Steve with everything going on with him. -

Another good chapter; this one for all the trials seemed to be almost upbeat. Sort of scares me for what you could have coming next. I have to admit that Geoff is starting to seem a little off to me; not just the incident at the end of the chapter, but the lapses for lack of a better word that he seems to experience. -

WOW, the writing in this chapter was excellent. I have actually had a student describe something like this to me; the face that isn't a face just a like a round piece of paper. So well done, but I too hope that Jerry is able to find his way out of this. -

I had to take a break from the story but am going to try and catch back up; I really liked this chapter. Thought the writing was really good and the plotting was excellent. Jerry may actually get better somewhat with this trauma or it could send him completely over the edge. I have to admit that I am unsure which way this will go. Billy seems to be dealing with this better than I would have expected. Just have to wonder what will happen next.
