    Chapter 31

One technical. Coming from. There's hardly many chapters where the characters don't say they understand where somebody is coming from. I know it's too late for correcting that but it really starts standing out. Maybe there are some other ways how to express the same?

    Chapter 29

This is the crucial to this whole drama: Robbie: “I thought about what you said, and I can’t do it. I mean, if you want to have sex with someone else with me, I’m fine with that. But I can’t deal with you having sex with someone else when I’m not there.” Brad: So many emotions flew through my body. Anger that he thought he had the right to set the rules like this when he’d broken them in the first place. Sadness over what this would probably mean for us. And more anger and disappointment, that he didn’t see what I needed, and was once again was putting himself first. But somehow I managed to stay calm, something I needed to work on doing more often anyway. “Explain that.” For God's sake, it's 29th chapter and we still hear the same. It's all around Brad who wants to f**k other guys whenever and wherever he wants because HE doesn't get emotionally attached to them (not true) while Robbie does. Brad is selfish, arrogant, self-centered slut with a very fragile psyche who likes to preach others and set rules for them - the same rules he's not willing to abide. AND he doesn't see it! He can see all the flaws in Robbie but he himself has never (in this story) done any retrospection - never ever pondered the arguments Robbie gave him (even if there are mentions he needs to work on some of his biggest flaws). That somewhat reminds me of JP in his prick days early in the saga. JP had 30 years before he overcame it, I really hope Brad won't take that long. And after what Robbie said - I think very reasonable from his point of view (let's f**k other guys but together) - if Brad breaks up with him just because of that (and blames Robbie for that I bet), then he definitely loses as a character. I heard about how the story evolves, I think their wedding is in the blurb even. BUT if Brad doesn't pull his shit together... i.e. if the author doesn't manage to make ALL characters more... balanced then well IDK what to think about the story. Maybe the return wasn't worth it. Maybe I moved on and I might not be the target readership. I might be the wrong reader reading a wrong story.

    Chapter 28

I understand regaining trust is not instant. God knows I'm an example of that. BUT instead of helping Robbie to regain his self-esteem - which was what lead to this "crisis" - he's pushing him back down. And why the main target was Brad - and that's why he shares responsibility for that. And it's not right he doesn't get any blame, only pitying and whatever. Moreover all that bullshit about his "fragile psyche" - others don't have a fragile psyche? How does it go with his depiction as the tough guy? He's as instable as Robbie, only here Robbie is depicted as the unstable whining one and Brad is the poor victim irritated by his whining. I see it as unfair and unbalanced which in consequence irritates me so much I wouldn't believe a story would.

    Chapter 26

That's a very nice touch, with the cuff-links it's original, not that corny, yet gay I really liked this chapter, first after a long row that I really enjoyed.

    Chapter 25

Love is about vulnerability. If you love someone, you open up to them wholly, without any condition. It's the highest level of trust, exclusive, infinite. Usually it's also equal. There might be some shifting balance as if it were communicating vessels but the central point is equality (with the only exception in M/s relationships which are mutually agreed on). I do see faults on both sides and in my eyes Brad doesn't have the right to want to have an "upper hand" in their relationship. "Love" with a f**k-buddy list aside is not real love, it's a mutually profitable relationship based on common interests bound by some synerging effects that overweight the possibility of two people being just "friends with benefits".

    Chapter 21

This Brad adoration is annoying. It makes me want something bad to happen to him, just so that he's not so f**king positive. I really liked his character before this story, he was among my favourite ones (not because of his huge cock ). But right now... GAH! I'd do anything for his vanishing. Of course I could stop reading the story. But that would go against my resolution. And most probably I wouldn't get back. Bah... “Brad, sometimes things are just not your fault. Sometimes you’re not responsible when things go bad,” JP told me. “Tell that to Robbie.” OF COURSE HE IS RESPONSIBLE! He's responsible too! And with his slutty behaviour he's making it worse.

    Chapter 20

OK, Brad adoration like at the beginning of this one just confirmed to me how one-sided and biased this story is. Nothing is always so black and white and I know this is a soap opera and that we have Brad as the narrator but this was just too much. Or maybe I'm a cynic prick. And I'm biased too. But Brad has his flaws too. Having read the whole chapter, I'd say one of the biggest flaws of Brad is that he's an incorrigible slut. I wouldn't mind him having an incestuous f**k with Matt IF he weren't so righteous about shit Robbie got them in while he was aimed at as one of the aims to shoot down. Even if it was Robbie's lack of self-control or whatever, he wouldn't have done it himself (I expect Carson was the active one in that one). While Brad is the active one almost in all his f**ks so far, justifying them with how much Robbie had hurt him - so he has right to do it. I call it hypocrisy and double standards. And what about that miraculous turning of Nick?

    Chapter 18

nice chapter! but I hope the courting won't too last long. It would be boring and I don't think I'd like seeing that. I'm for equal treatment, if Robbie growels, Brad should help him, go towards him, not being like a queen expecting everyone to court her.

    Chapter 17

While I was first on Brad's side, now I'm starting to lean towards Robbie. He's not a saint and his hurt ego is starting to annoy me. What looked like a nice twist to get Brad laid with otherwise unreachable guys is starting to drag. I hope it will be resolved soon (and not in next sixty chapters). Well, 2-3 days per chapter... that's another four chapters! Probably more. Sigh....

    Chapter 9

I really enjoy reading this. And since I don't have to put up with all the endings you make (I wouldn't dare to call them cliffhangers! ), I have to say the story has a really nice steady pace and runs swiftly. I'm also really enjoying how you're developing the characters.

    Chapter 4

Leave it to Cody to explain things! :D And Stefan is looking like some medium or future-teller in these few starting chapters. Though I don't see a big point in getting Lark back, even as the main villain. He already had done some pretty nasty shit - but it wasn't linked with Brad if I remember correctly. And to taking a wrath on the whole family, that would look pathetic. It's just been so long since I've read those stories that I can't remember who got any shit from Brad.

    Chapter 20

Awwww that was so nice and romantic! I really enjoyed this story, partly because we got Tonto back partly because it was a change from all those teenage narrators

    Chapter 16

So many things changed since I read this chapter. It's the last one I remember reading and now there's a hundred more in the whole saga! This chapter was very nice! I remember I liked this "historical" book of CAP because it provides more background to the "main story" I really wonder how this ends - just in three chapters...

  24. and here we have the answer: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/top-stories/2011/08/11/london-riots-young-rioters-say-they-re-proud-to-steal-115875-23335860/ London riots: Young rioters say they're proud to steal By MELISSA THOMPSON and RACHAEL BLETCHLY, Daily Mirror 11/08/2011 ... “People say it started ‘cause of Tottenham,” he said, “but that had nothing to do with what happened. “People did what they did because they could. So what if we get caught? Prison’s full so no one’s going to go there, are they?” Surveying the boarded-up buildings, LJ has little sympathy. “I suppose you could say people got carried away,” he shrugged. “I threw bricks because they were there.” ... “I saw kids who were eight years old, everyone got involved. They just went in and grabbed what they could. Why not?” Attitudes were similar in Manchester on Tuesday night where two lads loitered. Admitting they had been looting earlier, the lad said: “Why are you going to waste the opportunity to get new stuff? “We could afford to buy stuff, but it’s not about that. It’s about the Government – them taking stuff away... in my case I don’t go to college no more cos I don’t get paid, do I? “The Government aren’t in control. If they were we wouldn’t be able to do it.” His mate piped up: “Yeah, what can they do? I’ll keep doing this until I get caught. My family don’t know where I am – they think I’m just out.” But his pal bragged: “I told my mam I’m here. She said ‘Get home, you’re in trouble’ I said ‘no’ and just put down the phone. “When I get home nothing will happen. I might get shouted at but that’s about it. I can live with that and just keep doing it.” The boys had no fear of a criminal record. One said: “Prisons are overcrowded so what are they gonna do – give me an asbo? I’ll live with that.”
