I can see the NCAA drug enforcement buying that Julius slipped the drugs to Zach without his knowledge. I can't see them letting Julius skate without any punishment. JJ may be aggravated at Brad about Carullo, but he does know his dad and I don't see him getting bent over it. More please!

Her father died in February 1952 while she was out of the country on an official visit as I recall reading. Her coronation wasn't until June of 1953 and I think that date is one she would rather celebrate. Her grandmother, Queen Mary died in March 1953 but the coronation was not further delayed per her grandmother's request in another tidbit I picked up somewhere. Queen Mary, wife of George V, was the mother of George VI (Elizabeth's father) and of Edward VIII who abdicated reigning for less than a year (all in 1936) after marrying that American divorcee...

Don't try to feel old before your time, it gets here quickly enough. Besides, haven't you heard, 70 is the new 50!

And to think one of my early memories is my mother watching her coronation on a blurry black and white television in June 1953.

I think you summed it up fairly well. I also think Chris needed GA as an outlet and I hope he finds some other venue to express himself and make some connections. I too will miss him being around.

It certainly looks like the chemistry between them is right. Hopefully as they get to know each other more, their stars align.

A few interesting tidbits. Brad doesn't love Marc but wants to be friends with benefits. Will took care of Julius. Will's plans for Trevor are put on hold. There doesn't seem to be any plans yet to extract a pound of flesh from ED or Alex's dad..... Thanks for posting for Labor Day and I hope the semester settles down faster than usual so we can get timely posts which are most appreciated.

I wish I could like Canuk's comment as it expresses my feelings so well. I found it interesting that Granger has agreed to keep secrets from Nelson about his and Daventry's mission. Granger's concern that the Valiant and crew may be sent to some out-of-the way place to keep the crew from spilling any information may be prescient. More Granger please!

CJ's young friends are becoming close and your descriptions demonstrate or show it instead of just telling us. Well done!

JJ's revenge has shown he will not just roll over when attacked and he gained some respect from his family. Wade is caught in the middle is probably more pissed at his mother than anyone and I wonder just how much he will be involved in taking her down. i still think that Alex and his father deserve more than a little payback too. Will's plans concerning ED and Trevor may be even more over-the-top. And we still haven't found out about his plans for that realestate he picked up. Add to mix that Brad is deserting Marc and flying to New York and I wonder what he will want to do? More please!

Different strokes for different folks. Philly or Chicago are too big for my taste, never mind the big Apple. But I can see your reasons and if that is your plan, it pays to try it while you are young and flexible. Good luck! I think those cities are fun places to visit and take in the sights and cultural opportunities, but as far as actually living there, no thanks. I like my suburban lifestyle in a metro area of less than two million. The megalopolis is just too noisy and too busy for my tastes. DDK

Ron and Matt both make valid points and I think Tomas' post above is also to the point. Courtesy works both ways. It is regrettable but lives do change and shit happens to everyone. DDK

I hit a point where I had some real problems with writers block while writing Abel III's Awakening. I finally overcame it by stopping everything and re-reading the story as posted and taking some more notes along the way. While I had a pretty detailed outline, the story strayed as it was written from time to time and that was what caused my inability to see how I was going to get from where I stopped to where I wanted to go. Once I had the actual story clear in my mind, I was able to push through to the finish. Am I completely pleased with it? No, but at this point I am ok with how it went and how it turned out. I too grew up with the mantra to finish what I start and to just let it sit was not in my DNA. No matter how long I had to wait, I would find the time somewhere to finish what I started. (Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it!)

Even with the press hounding ME at the gates, I doubt whether his grace or Alex really appreciates just how much trouble the Schluter-Crampton clan can make. Will stung Brad and Brad can be a coldly calculating SOB, especially when his family is attacked.... JJ's salvo may have been unexpected, but it too may have some blow-back consequences..... JJ and Zach are the ones who are really screwed out of their dreams. So the stage is set....what do the family members decide to do with ED, ME, Preston and Alex and Julius. I can't wait for some more fireworks!
