Great job and some insights as well. Cia has it right. Writing can be a slog at times, while other times, the words just spill out of you and you have a hard time keeping up with the torrent to get the ideas all down.....That's why most writers need a break now and then. I applaud those who can continuously plow on year after year with interesting and compelling stories.

I meant to say that I enjoyed the chapter and the usual British naval politics as portrayed and am looking forward to how Granger deals with the oncoming confrontation.... And more please!

It is a tough subject and a tough position to be in for anyone. Sometimes a little space and time can overcome a toxic relationship, but some times they are never repaired and while it might be necessary, everyone loses a bit and maybe a lot. Sorry for your loss, but continue to do what is right for you.

I don't think CJ will have any problems forgiving Brett for acting like an uptight parent when Brett apologizes. And that should occur sooner rather than later. Great chapter Carlos, and yes being a parental figure does mean you will fuck up once in a while despite your best intentions.... Just like there is no perfect child or teen, there are no perfect parents either, even though our kids expect us to be!

I can't like this post because I find the whole subject despicable. Plagiarism is too nice a word for what these sneaky little thieves do. I have nothing but contempt for anyone who tries to take credit for someone else's hard work.

CJ's imminent hook-up with the smitten stud could be more intense than he has otherwise experienced because of the pot and the lead up to this point as well. Dughlas' point about Dragon & King's lifestyle is interesting in that I sort of share it. However, it is a bit titillating and while it's not something I'd ever get into, it is fun to see others enjoy it. As long as the story is not about that except peripherally, I think the spice is nice especially as it is not overdone. Something tells me that CJ and his school Walls is going to have another person in their life as well. More please!

Josh is coming accross better and better....best man material.

I have too many DVD movies and concert DVD's to count, but I don't really have any series although I have given box sets of some TV series as presents as they were on some nieces and nephews Christmas wish lists. I also have a couple hundred of them on video tape including many of the classic Disney which we acquired when my kids were little. My latest acquisition was a special on Amazon of Universal's 100th Anniversary Collection which is a box set of 25 movies on DVD. Included are Schindler's List, Animal House, E.T., To Kill a Mockingbird, Jaws, Dracula, Spartacus, Jurassic Park, The Sting, Fields of Dreams and more. It was one of their daily bonus deals with 25 movies for $25 which I thought was pretty sweet. I stream movies and series on my Amazon account too.

A fitting end to an important year in an uncertain life. Well done and I hope to hear more about this tribe. DDK
