    More questions

His embarrassment of 'riches' is more the problem than anything else. The murder next door certainly marked a change in his life. Thanks for reading and reviewing.

    July 4th

Small town Indiana still has many of those neighborhood traits that were more common years ago. Thanks for reading and sharing.

    Blood

The intrigue gets more interesting.....I promise.
  4. Thanks for your kind words. I hope the story continues to keep your interest and surprises you a bit too.

    Chapter 3

Headstall's point about Elizabeth is well made and worrisome. ME is a determined player and mommy is coming to 'help' her. JJ and Alex could be in for more than they can imagine. Will has some serious plans and hopefully he will not get burned. More please!
  6. What a good sport with some awesome moves too!
  7. Why do I sense more intrigue as the chapter ended? Great job and I for one, don't mind longer chapters.
  8. Happy Birthday Tucker! & Many, many more!
  9. Everything was proceeding about as expected and then wham! Along came New Years and Barry reconnecting with his kids....that I did not expect. Once it happened, I was not surprised that the kids had not done so well. Losing both parents, their home and their former lives all in short time was way to much for them or anyone to deal with. So it's a great story, but the kids are now involved in the secret and still probably on the radar for at some element of the mob. So yeah, I can see where there could easily be a second book in the saga! Thanks for sharing!
  10. Well at least you didn't set him on fire.....
  11. The shy angst is readily apparent. Poor Andrew, in a class called debate and didn't realize he'd have to get up in front of the class until his teacher spelled it out. Interesting start, but kind of short if you are going to cover your high school years in only three more chapters.
  12. Or he didn't take them regularly. Even after an initial good response, if the patient becomes over confident and doesn't take his meds as prescribed, or takes a break from them altogether, the virus can build back up to detectable levels and mutate to become resistant to the drugs that formerly worked. The five year survival rate seems to indicate it's not such a small percentage. Chapter 2

Will, Will, Will, while some may really dislike the guy, I could take a whole book from his point of view. JP's ED seems to have not been such a big issue when a little spice was added to the mix in a threesome and changing it up and other "work arounds" are important when such an issue occurs. In an otherwise healthy male, sexual function and desire should last at least another 20 years for JP. Cody's news about Kevin was a wake-up call for Will and hopefully he will take heed. A recent analysis of HIV in the San Francisco area showed: "The five-year survival probability among people diagnosed with AIDS between 2001 and 2013 was 78 percent for African Americans compared to 85 percent for whites, 87 percent for Latinos, and 91 percent for Asian/Pacific Islanders." Others have commented on Ace and I can only agree that he is one lawyer I would not take my case to. More please!
  14. Your enthusiasm for your story shines through and I am hooked.
  15. It is a sobering fact that more American lives were lost in our Civil War than in all the rest of our wars combined. Our country's greatness is not that it was perfect, but that we continue to try to perfect it as we grow and mature as a nation and a society. That growth is not always fast enough for some, but we have seen some recent progress.... This chart in Wiki lays out the war casualties by each conflict. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_military_casualties_of_war The link below is from the Department of Veterans Affairs which organizes the information differently but shows about the same numbers. http://www.va.gov/opa/publications/factsheets/fs_americas_wars.pdf
  16. Best Wishes for all our Canadian friends and family!
  17. As much as I am relieved about CJ, there are still so many in trouble starting with a friend shot and in the hospital. Autumn has plenty of plot lines just waiting further development and I for one, can't wait!
  18. Rick Astley this past weekend in London Ok but not nearly as entertaining as Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars on Ellen....
  19. One of my favorite chapters and one of my favorite songs by Gladys Knight!
  20. Shy Andrew has blossomed! Now if you just start writing and posting that magnum opus you have inside you, I will be happy! DDK
  21. Well it's after midnight in her time zone, so: Happy Birthday Slytherin! a.k.a. Little Blue One & Grumpy Bear! May your day be truly special and your joy remove all grumpiness!
  22. I'm still trying to guess where Mark is heading with his intriguing title and my best guess is that it will have multiple meanings for several of his characters. But it certainly seems to point to the relationship between Stef and JP as a starting point. Will it have some resonance for Will and Zach, or Matt and Wade, or JJ and Alex, or Alex and ME, or Brad and Marc, or all of them? Or perhaps even more?

    Chapter 1

Dinners at Escorial are usually entertaining, but this rehearsal dinner ranks with the best. Despite it being Will who started in on Brad, it was Stef who dropped the bombshell on Brad. Then almost as a walk-off line, Stef announces Brad is not the only one he is upset with and I bet it's JP. Great job on setting the hook on this new book in the CAP saga.
