The talk with mom went better than anyone could have expected.
And so did the trip to the museum. I loved the sunglasses and the bit about their retrieval.
Here's wishing you second fifty be filled with joy, love, and some more happy surprises as I think your first fifty had enough hard spots to ground you as a person. In any case, keep rolling with what life throws at you.
Best wishes,
DDK
Cole please enjoy the last precious minutes before you officially turn age 50 and start the best part of your life!
Be sure to look for the AARP invitation which should be on the way!
And so, without further ado:
Happy Birthday Cole!
&
Many, many more!
The baby had to be Matt's and the naming was perfect even if Matt doesn't seem to have a say.
Will knows JJ so well and I suspect that JJ knows it and plays to form.
The dialogue in the delivery room was hilarious, however, from my limited experience in delivery rooms there was a lot more whining, cussing and even cursing from the mom.
Seems like Will is the designated coach and I bet he spoils those babies.
JJ is dealing with adversity better than expected and even managed to finally tell Alex about Mary Ellen's plans. The kid has really matured over the course of this book.
More please!
A very well written and heartfelt chapter. Too bad the cop is a bigot and denied his own son. Like Chris said, Blake is better off without him. Ben is a sweet heart and l' m looking forward to reading the next chapter.
