Jex keeps thinking up more ways to spend money...no mention of how much is coming in or whether the cash flow is sufficient to support all these ventures. He makes one mention of his solitary life, but we still have no clue and from all appearances he is asexual. -

Poisonous snakes and spiders are endemic to Australia...and even experienced people can be taken unawares.
