I read the whole chapter with trepidation and it ended horribly, fully justifying my fears. Life sometimes sucks but this was the whole enchilada in one chapter. And no I couldn't bring myself to "like" it. More soon, and hopefully things turn around and get better then.

JJ wins and lost his coach...ouch! Tiffany decides being mama is her first priority and with a third child on the way, it does seem inevitable. Alex is there but nothing more is revealed, except his disreputable parents showed up for the wedding. I suspect the reception will be more entertaining than the ceremony. More please!

TimothyM is probably right that Alex will not have much interest in the day to day upbringing of his infant child. However, I also never expected Alex and JJ to be a forever thing so I do expect there will be some falling out eventually and probably because JJ finds someone more interesting who isn't encumbered by being married to Mary Ellen.... Brad has lead a pretty chaotic life so far and I'm beginning to wonder as he is now about forty if he isn't ready to settle down with someone and Marc seems to be a pretty good choice. I never gave Marc much chance when he was first introduced into the story. His insight into the family and their personalities at an artistic level seems almost prescient and if he can use that ability to maintain Brad's interest, it seems like a win-win situation. My thoughts on Will are still ready for almost anything. While he and Zach are fixated on each other and finishing out highschool together, they are still in highschool and the likelihood that they will maintain a forever relationship as mates is a mountain they still have to climb and conquer. Wade and Matt are another story. Wade has his definite goals in life and sees Matt besides him. Matt sees himself besides Wade, but what is going to do with his life? All in all, Arbour has a lot of ways the story can go and I really wonder where it heads after the Streak is finished?

Christmas at Escorial is so much more fun! Mary Ellen's plan to ditch JJ are now clear. The implementation could be interesting. Marc is not only an artist, but also has some very clear perceptions regarding his lover's family. Another great chapter! More please!

The latest chapter is a gem and there wasn't even any sex in it! However, I foresee where that might be soon rectified. I love the character of George Granger and never tire of his adventures......

One of the possible plot lines I thought of when reading the chapter posted this morning was that JJ would be a little infatuated with Susannah and use that to make Alex jealous. It's the sort of thing he would do....

Will certainly can be resolute and seems to have much figured out. Bringing Rosa back for the holidays being just one example. I just hope his plans for Kevin don't blow up in his face.... Mark is officially back and has me whining for more!

Genocide is an atrocity that has happened too often in human history, including the last couple of hundred years during so-called civilized times. Wars, insurrections, riots, and prejudice have all been excuses for genocide and I don't think anyone's religion or culture is particularly guilt free. But it is a sin against humanity and sometimes we need to be reminded of that......

I saw Mark's reply that Jeremy quoted above and I thought, yeah that could be the case and the line about keeping your enemies closer rings true too. I still don't see JJ and Alex being a forever thing, but it does appear he is going to be an ongoing character as he is marrying Wade's sister. Still haven't heard a word about Wade's littlest brother in ages and wonder what he's been up to too. So much to think about as the Streak winds up and the next part of the saga begins. Brad and his new love interest were barely alluded to in the chapter as well. I wonder what the next book will be called. "The honeymoon is over?"

What a nice surprise! And the chapter was almost worth the wait! I do wonder how Mary Ellen is going to take the news about JJ being in the wedding..... The line about Wade waiting his whole life to give M.E. away was hilarious. Well the news from California was interesting. Zach and his team kept the 'streak' alive. Somehow that signals to me this book is almost history..... More please! (And a little Granger fix would be super too!)

I really can appreciate the realestate guy's flair for description of houses. I think Dave is correct that the over the top house is too much for them. But wonder if Barry can contain his enthusiasm for it. I also wonder about the house of the former bar owners that they must sell... So many ways you can go with this. More please!
