If you read Abel III's Awakening you know it involves telepathy. In my story, Basking Sharks on earth formed a primitive telepathic network in the world's oceans and seas. An interesting primer. The thing that disturbs most of those that suffer from PTSD that you only just mention is guilt. It can be most debilitating and worsen depression, cause irritability, and the emotional changes you described. Getting a person to realize that their feelings of guilt are out of proportion and why that is so, is one of the major problems in treatment. -

Jeremy, I don't see you having a career in concessions at a movie house. But money is money and if you look at it just as a transitional job you are doing only for the money, then you may slog your way through. Of course it will never satisfy you, but if you are worried about keeping it for a while for the money, make friends with the co-workers and ask how they do it is my advice. -
