All's well that ends well....and I guess we will just have to wait and see how NOLA works out. Great transition and of course the realtor could only be the famous Robert Rex!
Thanks for your kind words. I worked really hard on it. I have plans for another story, but I am kind of taking a break for a bit as my real life has its own drama right now and it doesn't look like it will resolve anytime soon. Thanks again for reading and reviewing!
Glad to see that you got back to this story. Providing enough facts about Bart's past without it becoming another book was part of my difficulty in getting through to the end. Good catch.
Don't over think it too much regarding the other reviews. One of the problems with a serial story is that people start relating to it in a very linear way. Having gone back and reread the story, I see how you are developing the diverse threads in their lives and I have great hopes you can tie them all together down the road.
I figured that they would choose the Big Easy. At this point, anything that keeps them together is the best work around. Since I figure you know the city, you can really take advantage of the locales, describing them from a personal point of view.
Good job Robert!
Now more of the Barry, aka Bulldog and Dave show!
I caught some Britains Got Talent from last year on YouTube and the winner was Collabro.
Here they are singing:
"How Will I Know" at Brighton Pride 2014
Teenagers finding their way....a way which can have many forks in the road. Life is a journey and your characters will find there are always some bumps in the road too.
The carrot and stick approach does seem a bit obvious on the part of the FBI and Barry and Dave clearly saw through the motives of the AD and the Bureau. Still, there are the upsides and it is worth considering.....
For those of us old enough to remember watching the original Star Trek episodes as they aired in the sixties over the course of just three short seasons, none of us could have envisioned the series would become iconic and spawn the conventions and later movies that it did. I was an avid fan then as I had already become something of a sci-fi fan. Nimoy as Spock was a cool example of clear thinking and a perfect foil for Kirk. Bones, Scotty, Uhura and the rest were really an ensemble cast in a series before much was made of such innovations.
Leonard Nimoy, RIP
I just finished reading this story. I must say I found the slavery to be reprehensible and despite Damien's attempts at reform it really remained an odious practice. The plight of Kayden had him reduced to a quivering animal. Yet somehow your story drew me in and I kept reading and saw a transformation in all the characters except Roman. And he got his just desserts.
Well done and congrats again on the Amazon deal!

The tulips are lovely!
The idea of either Pvt. Tim with or without Jeremy's suggestions taking over writing is enough to scare Mark's more reserved fans into a panic.
Hopefully the hiatus does not turn into a sabbatical.....
