Families are our toughest critics and comparisons between siblings can be awfully unfair. I can relate, but I also must suggest an attitude adjustment. I'd ignore the lonely old man that is making you feel like a failure and just deal with him only as necessary. Then I'd get off my butt and finish my degree and then start really hunting for job in a field of your choice. If it means dad has to go into a senior facility and his house sold to pay for it, so be it. You have a right to a life and you got to let go of all the emotional baggage before you can feel fulfillment. Good luck and get to it. Times a wasting! -

The fleet is not going to the Indies. George is taking his ship on a lone mission on a year long voyage. Well away from the fleet and the waggin' tongues of the bored sailors and officers. Although a year with Calvert will probably not sit too well with Caroline. But can she really complain as George has given her license to carry on with the prince, albeit discreetly while he is away?

Chapter 10 is posted and starts to get into the Nore mutiny. Granger addressing his crew is pure George and as usual he cements their loyalty. The news from Lord Spencer about the identity of the person he was assigning was certainly surprising as was the fact that both Pitt and Spencer both seemed to not know yet who would be replacing Bertie now that Teasdale would not be going. That fact is perhaps the best news of the incipient Odyssey so far!

George is getting Calvert back! Now that is a surprise. That should make the upcoming voyage a lot more bearable!

Well mom's usually know their limits. Taking on a dog is lot of work and mess. Two is double trouble. I speak from experience of owning dogs for the last 40 years and yes we've had more than one several times... Perhaps the shooter is just a tool...

Perhaps in the context of living in a fairly small town with a low crime rate and everybody into everyone else's business, it did suck in a big way for Dean.

Bruno was motivated by money and was very good at writing code for encrypting data, and data transfers. The mob is very good at using front companies, many doing mostly legit business to launder money and acquire other things.

I should have provided a map of the area. Ash street curves gently and the houses are fairly far apart. I think I mentioned 60 feet in the story, so they are angled slightly.

EPILOGUE Dean finished out the semester wearing the vest. While sweaters worked in March and April, he had to get some looser Polo's for May. With no new threats, and at the concurrence of the FBI and his personal security, he shed the vest after the end of the semester. He enrolled in the summer session and took twelve credit hours and studied constantly. With the fall semester he officially became a senior in college.
