Calvert is certainly on George's mind and hopefully they can get to a place where they can be candid with each other without their jealousy getting in the way. The crew of the ship seem to appreciate George and he them. I suspect there will be a trial by fire...

Great job! JJ finally ditched the bitch and actually found a boyfriend. The dinner at Escorial was pleasant, but all of the family going to Athens seems to portend possible mishap..... Anxiously awaiting the next chapter!

The chapter starting out with George missing his jump on the link and landing halfway in the water made me think this was going to be a one of those chapter where everything goes wrong. Of course I was mistaken! Well done!

"1 done and only 11 to go! Maybe it was the time off, but did anyone else feel that January flew by? I know we say this more and more as we age but for some reason I thought this one went really quickly. " Yeah well except for the 11 straight days we saw no sun because of the weather which included 7 straight days of temps never getting warmer than 15F and 10 straight days of temps below 32F. At least we didn't get snowed or iced in....February couldn't come quick enough in my humble opinion.

JJ seems to be enjoying K-Kris and vice versa. With JJ being all about JJ, K-Kris is enjoying being the recipient of his largesse. With another chapter being mostly about JJ, I'm hoping his role is reduced in future chapters. But at least it was light and fun. Thanks for a little Sunday delight.

JJ predictably is a drama queen and plays the role well with his perfect fashion sense. He can be generous and thoughtful, but also petty and is usually quite insecure in stark contrast to Will. Hopefully, he plays a bit part in this book.

I think George has it right, Caroline realizes she can't best him and now seeks assurance he will not use his influence to bring her down even more. St. Vincent is a prick and George's anger is understandable. The news about Calvert is concerning and George's letter to Talleyrand should help. Still speculating what the admirably has in mind?

I don't blame Travis for being upset that Will doesn't understand the depths of his dislike for his siblings. Brad's advice to Jack reminded us of the problems he and Robbie had and the lesson he learned. While Will and Travis have come to an agreement, I can't help but recall "for now".

I was surprised Taylor was coherent and not a total hysterical mess. With her onboard with the plan and everyone else too, things should be resolved...."for now". Will has finally got Zach figured out completely and his silent summation of "for now" confirms it. I'm wondering what the title of the next book will be and how Will adjusts to Beantown's long winters.

Somehow I missed the last couple of notifications and just caught up with this chapter. From the ending I'm beginning to think there is more to the Orca's being guardians than first imagined....
