  1. Loved it! Not, much else I can say without completely ruining it for people yet to read it. It was sad and yet also hopeful at the end. Left me feeling for both Derrick and Nix. It also left me wanting more! Perfect!
  2. It's hard to know what to say without giving loads away to people who haven't read this yet so I'll keep it brief! I loved watching the relationship grow between Chris and Aaron. All the shy, nervous touches just made my heart melt. It was nice to read something that, for the most part, was purely innocent. Reading about them both getting past their obvious fear and nervousness was refreshing. A simply brilliant read!
  3. Apparently, I'm a large breasted peach who likes to f**k dildos. or I'm a red penis who likes to fung elephants. Fung? or I am a friendly grandfather who likes to hug sheep. This hilarious!
  4. I never used to think I was 'addicted' to my computer but I have noticed that since I got a laptop for my NVQ course work I seem to spend all my free time on the internet on forums and such.
  5. I love cheese as long as it doesn't come with a funky odur. I tend to have it with most meals. It's my fave snack!
  6. I used to use IE but I had some problems when it came to loading pages on some blog sites. Firefox had been a god send for me. It downloads faster and I've never had a problem loading a page since I got it.
  7. I don't have a policy. I've only slept with two people so I don't really don't have anything to base a policy on. I lost my virginity to a close, male, friend when I was 14 and the next person I slept with was my girlfriend when we were 16 and that just sorta happened after a couple months of use being together.
  8. This is my number one fear! I have recurring nightmares about it. Others are: How I die - Dying doesn't scare me, its the way that I will die that does (eg. drowning, falling from a great height, suffocation, etc). Clowns - I saw Stephen King's It when I was about 4/5 years old and they've scared the hell out me since. I once elbowed a clown in the family jewels because he snuck up on me at Chessington World of Adventures. Heights - I can't even stand on the couch without getting dizzy. Moths - I love butterflies but moths give me the heebie jeebies. Spiders - I scream like a girl when I see one. Even money spiders. Something hiding under my bed or in my wardrobe. I still check them before bed Losing a sense - I sometimes wake up at night and worry that I've gone blind. The Dark - Not so much the dark itself, more what's in the dark that I can't see. I am such a wuss! The scary thing is I can probably think of a few more
  9. For me its an unsigned, for now, band called 10 Reasons to Live. I love their sound, even after they recently changed lead singers. I've been to a handful of their gigs and they just get better each time. Here a couple of their songs: and their MySpace page: http://www.myspace.com/10reasonstolive I've met most of them in person at gigs and they're all really nice, down to earth guys.
  10. Marry: Will Smith Sleep: Patrick Dempsey Throw: Jason Statham On ya marks... Mark Ruffalo (was in Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon) Mark Wahlberg Mark Vincent (aka Vin Diesel)
  11. Aquarius. Friendly and humanitarian Honest and loyal Original and inventive Independent and intellectual On the dark side.... Intractable and contrary Perverse and unpredictable Unemotional and detached I agree with most of it, just not 'unemotional and detached'. If anything I'm probably overemotional at times. Definitely agree with the loyal part, I'm loyal to a fault and independent, so much so that it drives my other half nuts at times.
  12. I went to see it yesterday afternoon and although I enjoyed it I can't say I loved it. It was my favourite of all the books but I just felt there was something missing in the film. I thought the special effects were great and the performances of the more well known actors were brilliant and as much as it pains me to say, Emma Watson was the better 'teen' performance overall with Bonnie Wright being some what lacking throughout. One thing that seriously wound me up was the fact that the kiss between Harry/Cho in the 5th film lasted longer than the measly peck between Harry and Ginny this time around. They took a great scene in the book and turned it to crap. Also, Harry never saw the Room of Requirement so how on earth is he supposed to know where to find the diadum in Deathly Hallows?! Aragog's 'funeral' seemed a bit abrupt, one of my friends who doesn't read the books found it all confusing and didn't understand what was going on. Dumblesdore's death was rather moving at the end, I admit I cried. Michael Gambon did a great job with the lead up to it, especially when he was drinking the potion in the cave but I have to agree that it all seemed a bit rushed. Also, they could have done a better job with explaining the Horcrux's and their significance. Again, friends who only watch the films are more than a little confused. But it was just a movie, you can't expect them to get everything in which I suppose is always the problem when you have limited time. It's a shame though because now I'm not really looking forward to watching Deathly Hallows when it's released.
  13. While reading that article I found myself feeling really sorry for Pepper and wanting to dislike the home wrecker, Linda. Then I remembered I was reading about penguins and really think I need to get out more.
  14. Completely agree. Very weird. Can't wait to see him in Harry Potter tomorrow though.
