Zach’s father is a southern Baptist minister and this creates a major problem for his son. Zach’s gay and has heard his father preach against homosexuality many times. This leaves Zach in conflict with his faith. How is he going to resolve this predicament?

Chandler Drake is in middle school and rides the school bus that Bob Bell drives. They’re also neighbor’s, so when Bob sees that Chandler is being bullied, he wants to help. Bob does what he can, but he would like to do more. When he discovers a second boy, Nick Morenus, who lives nearby and rides a different bus, is going through a similar situation, Bob attempts to offer a solution to help both boys. Chandler has devised his own solution that works even better when combined with Bob’s proposal. Will this strategy solve their problem?

A young police detective, Jeremy Krivyanik, is assigned to investigate the murder of a 16 year-old-gay boy, Scott Mahon, a week before Halloween. Will he be able to track down the murder and what will it take to complete his task successfully?

Michael MacPherson and Devin McCaskill are neighbors, but they don’t meet until they start kindergarten. They immediately become fast friends and inseparable, but it’s becoming clear that something isn’t as it seems. After an incident happens, Devin’s family suddenly moves away. The Severe Climate Awareness and Relocation Services agency, S.C.A.R.S. for short, was founded in 2043. Charlie went to work for them 50 years later and will assist those living in areas adversely affected by the extreme changes to relocate. Since this is such a major undertaking, Charlie questions how they are going to accomplish this and why previous generations hadn't done more to prevent it from getting to this point.

Other crimes against members of the gay community soon follow, and all of these cases are assigned to a gay detective. Will he get the cooperation needed to solve these crimes or will he face numerous and unnecessary roadblocks?
