This is a story about a man who has lost his son and is now trying to survive in an apocalyptic world.

Brilliant scientist Doctor Adam Klein is sent into the far reaches of the solar system, to become the Chief Medical Scientist of a large Orbital Platform called "Leonidas" orbiting the planet Neptune. People who live and work on the Leonidas have begun to display signs of a strange illness, and it's up to him to find out what's going on. But Dr Klein is about to find out that things are not what they seem, and that the Leonidas may become his tomb.

The darkness festers throughout the vast cosmos in many ways, through war, famine, greed and more, this collection showcases this darkness that exists all around. From the tortured individual to the battlefields of distant lands. This darkness grows, and this archive exists to catalog it. The archive will continue to catalog these findings, as the darkness grows ever closer to us, we are prepared to meet it with observant eyes, and open minds.

A suicidal tendency that he is hoping will bring an end to his misery. But when he meets a mysterious boy at the end of Navy Pier one dark evening...he is given an alternative. One that will give him purpose, and set in motion the events that will lead to his ultimate destiny....in a world not like our own.
