Jason Barmore loved his friends and even more importantly loved Timothy’s annual Christmas party. He had picked out the perfect ugly Christmas sweater, but he wasn’t prepared for the gift he received from his secret Santa. Unbeknownst to him, someone had their own plans that just might alter the course of Jason’s life forever.

Orono, Maine had been panicked by a curious serial killer. The killer always leaves a fancy hat, called a fascinator, at the scene of the crime.

The few clues point toward a female perpetrator, which is fairly unusual. As little as 8% up to 17% of serial killers are women. The killing method is always different. The victims apparently have nothing in common. And the only common clue besides the hat is a few strands of hair, likely a woman’s. Other clues indicating a woman killer are left but are as random as the victims.

Is the woman who has that hair the suspect, or is it a case of massive misdirection?

Seventeen year old Dakota (Dak) Ross was having a little difficulty with the goings on in his life. He’d recently come out as gay to his mother. He hadn’t seen his dad since he was three, or so he had been told by his Uncle Spence. He couldn’t hide his relationship with Jamie Paxler any longer now that they were having sex. This is a coming of age style story with a BDSM spin. It's a reflection of events in my life and an attempt to discover the impact they may have had on my current state of mind and sexuality. It contains descriptions of actual incidents but, for a better narrative, I’ve fictionalized some parts and added characters. The main characters are Andrew and his friend Zack and the journey goes from middle school through and after college.
