A collection of poems about experiencing (or longing to experience) new things. "Firsts (2023 Edition)" is about losing something important, "Angels" is about seeking escape, "The Eye" is about possibility, and finally "Grappling" is about Genesis. Written for the 2023 "Exploration" Anthology, published now in honor of the 2024 "Seasons" anthology - go check it out!

We catch up with Larry after he cheated on Ken.

Owain returns to live in his home town, 20 years after leaving when he was disowned his parents for being gay. He needs to rebuild his life following illness and come to terms with his messy family history. There is much to learn and discover, along the way he meets Colin, a builder who has his own family issues. The two explore how to make a life the way that they want, irrespective of the weight of their family experiences.

The story takes place in Cheshire, UK. The main setting, Netherwich, is my invention based on elements of Crewe and Nantwich. The language uses some regional idiom.

Schools out for the summer! Our heroes from Boyfriends for Christmas are back, and what a difference six months makes.

They are about to take part in Initiation Weekend where they'll make new friends, take part in a local tradition and grow up a little.
