As part of a college assignment, I was required to write a continuing story of one of my favourite stories...

A century into the future, this "Gone From Daylight" spinoff tells the tale of the near apocalyptic war that is taking place between those who walk in daylight, and those who live in darkness! But when a boy from the resistance gets rescued by a team of cybernetically enhanced soldiers...where will things go from there? Maybe it takes someone who has walked in both worlds to create an understanding between them.

Born in the small town of Maydena in Tasmania, Australia, from the age of just two years, my home is over 6,000 kilometres away where I have grown up, in the Buddhist Kingdom of Bhutan. My full name, is Dechen Christopher Yeshe Hamilton. We have our main home in the capital of Thimbu, where we live for seven months from in the late autumn, winter and early spring, and for the rest of the time, for five months, we live in the northern Himalayan mountains, where my parents work to provide medical care and assist with education of the children in the remote of villages of Bhutan.

When Jason was six, he was involved in an accident that stole his parents and his voice. Left alone in a world that attacked him at every turn, he learned to hold onto his light and find comfort in himself. Then he was adopted by a family of wolves, and everything changed.

Born a wolf, Devyn doesn't understand many of the rules of his two legged family. He tries his hardest, but life on all four is much more fun. Not many get him, even in his own family, but his new brother seems different somehow.

Reinard Artego the Third is the last of his clan, a Faro running from his world after the death of his Segal. He takes refuge on Egara, working at a porneo, where no one would ever expect to find a Faro.

Galen just moved to the Hephaestus Isles, accepting a job offer from his friend. The only issue is the offer comes with a house already taken by a Faro.

When the Egaro and the Faro meet, cultures collide. Reinard fears his new roommate's sexual appetites, while Galen is amazed at Reinard's standoffish attitude toward him. For a week's time, the two will have to deal with each other. Or at least try not to kill each other.

A trio of skilled vampire raiders are going out to swindle a high stakes take from a deceased vampire, hoping to get by with a major score! However...is this the kind of heist that they expected to get away with? Or is there something 'else' going on behind the scenes?

The story follows Kandric and his brothers through a world of magic and danger. Monsters of all sorts dominate this story in a very gritty world full of slavery and other things not mentioned in polite society. Kandric makes his own path. Dare you follow?
