A new collection and a fresh perspective in my writing is the goal here. Whether I achieve that or not, is for you to decide, my reader.

After suffering devastating loss, Brandon has to put his life back together. Faced with a second chance at happiness, will he make the right choice?

Two strangers meet for the first time. The mutual attraction between them is undeniable. However, will this connection blossom into a full blown love affair, or will the emotional baggage within them tears them apart.

Join them on a journey to discover that love is not all about sweets and honey, but full of efforts, compromises, acceptance, betrayal, hatred, truths and lies.

I am told this is a "Haibun" or "Quick Writing," as it is translated. It is a partial narrative, and partial poetic treatment of a very difficult journey I am even now completing.

These are a few of the short flash fiction pieces I've done in response to various writing prompts I've been given. I will post the prompt and then the short pieces I came up as chapters here. I'd love to see any pieces inspired by any of these prompts from others too!

Imaginary stories of a half-fantastic Me.

Devon McGee meets Colin Wentworth and begins working with him. Colin is a puzzle. Devon is trusted immediately and given a task to restore Colin's Ancestral home. Then puzzles begin to cause Devon to wonder about his employer. Colin has a past and Devon is and was not prepared for what he finds out.

Ellis's mother did him spite, she harried thieves in the dead of night.
Put her son and his child to flight, they slew the babe, they slew his knight.
Through ill fate, he'd survived, but with this, his loves had died,
And now alone he must endure the days without child and paramour.

Steve and Chris, who met and became close in Thrift Shop Nation, return in another tale.

Working at the thrift shop has proved to be both interesting and rewarding for the boys. The summer is nearing its end, but both want the job to go on. They have been discovering that the thrift shop is more than just a job, and that Debbi is more than just a boss.

And that life among the world of 'previously owned' items is a long way from being dull...
