Book TWO of the Boy’s Trilogy. Moscow born, Vladek’s coming of age tale. His first love is Hans Eberhardt, his German high school teacher. Fluent in German he works for Soviet intelligence during World War II and becomes an aide (and lover) to a Soviet General. His next lover is an American officer. He eventually moves to the USA where he becomes respected in his profession while having many friends and numerous affairs.

Sometimes I like to pretend I'm a poet. This is a dump for the products of that pretension.

Poetry by Lacuna. The title is based on my first name, Lydia, which was an iron age empire located where Turkey is today.

Wesley Cain is a young and vibrant man in his twenties, he was making his way up in the points at the rodeo. Then his Grandparents died, leaving him their ranch and his younger brother Joseph to watch over. He took his responsibility for his younger brother seriously. The two boys had lost their parents when Wes was a teenager. With his Grandparents gone and no-one to look after his brother or the ranch, he quit the rodeo, and moved back home.

Here is where I collect my occasional attempts at poetry.

Caleb lived on the streets for the past two years after being kicked out by his parents. Finding his estranged older brother Matt and his husband gives new hope to have a loving, supporting family.

Oscar is the story of an eighteen-year-old English boy who is done. Done with society, done with pretending to be someone he isn't, and most importantly, done with being alone. But how far will he go to get what he wants? And at what cost?

If life was there for the taking, then it might look a lot like Kay Walker’s life. A good family with liberal and accepting attitudes, doing impressively well at college both on and off the field, a big circle of friends, and a promising future.

Of course, there are a couple of problems with this picture. Firstly, it wouldn’t make a very interesting story. And secondly, perhaps more importantly, it’s not quite true. Or at least, it’s not the whole picture.
