Nothing ever, ever, happens here.

This is a play script written a few years ago of which i've decided to edit and post on GA. Enjoy! Its actually based on the events of a bus journey i once had :)

In this send-up of Trump's America, grifters, drifters; liars, cheats and lovers; rapscallions and wags; pathicks, punks and pornstars all collide in a SoCal, Vegas and Baja California adventure to restore one man's sacred libido.

But will he still have his twink boyfriend by the end of it…?

November 1843 to February 1844. In probably the greatest same-sex love story ever told, one man's soul is redeemed by an act of self-sacrificing love, while all the rest are damned by a single man's hate.

Strolls; encounters; kisses through closed gates; lighted windows seen from below; rumpled bedsheets turning up men’s shirts . . . These are just a few of the images in August Stramm’s poetry collection titled “DU” (“THOU”).

What follows is a complete, fresh-look translation of the thirty-one poems of this set.

A kindness, an example, a bond, an aspiration, a lesson, a thought. No more, no less.

I occasionally try my hand at writing haiku. I'm not claiming that any of it is really all that good. And some haiku purists might even claim that I don't always follow the rules of haiku correctly. Indeed some of my attempts could be more correctly classified as senryu, rather than haiku.

Be all that as it may, I shall add my individual attempts over the next while. Some have been written many years ago. Others will be more recent.

As the occasional offering may be somewhat dark in nature, I shall give the collection a rating of Mature. I will give individual chapter warnings where necessary

1843. In a Polynesian paradise, something haunts Redburn. His dreams blend with the waking world, and he is driven to find himself while he seeks the lost love of his life.

Perhaps the highest form of romance entails not of two complete individuals coming together, but of two who would be completely, utterly and unequivocally broken without the other. Shawn had everything everybody else wanted, but struggled to attain the one thing that would potentially make him happy.
