Drew's Poetry Prompts - 5. Poetry Prompt 2 Again

Haiku 3

Death took the rabbit
As the snow began to build
A white burial.

Haiku 4

Escaping the cold,
The spider weaves a new home
Tucked in the window.

I would like to thank Doc, tim, and AC for the wonderful help and insights they offered in Live-Poets Society.

Very nice, Drew. I liked them both, especially as a had a long-leg spider climbing up the curtain behind my monitor just an hour ago....

Thanks for posting these!

As an arachnophobe, it was hard for me not to freak out about the spider. But, in all honesty, I think I'm getting better as I start learning more about them. Although I doubt I'll ever hold one.

Sorry for rambling :) Thank you so much for your kind words AC!

Awww, the poor bunny, buried in the snow. So sad.

Great Haikus, Drew. :)

Thanks Lisa! :) I was at the college taking care of things for the new semester, and when I left it started snowing. Well, as I went home, I saw a roadkill :( I realized soon enough that rabbit would be buried underneath the snow.

Again, thank you Lisa!

Both are very good, Drew. I especially like the first one, having seen it develop on the forum. The molding and kneading that we normally not get to see, were learning steps for me as well. My compliments for the result.

Thanks Peter! :) I agree, I found it an interesting and fun experience to get feedback on the first haiku.
