Drew's Poetry Prompts - 4. Poetry Prompt 2 Haiku

Haiku 1

The winds sing today
From tenor to soprano,
The song continues.

Haiku 2

In melodic purr,
A snow white bundle of fur
Sleeps on this warm bed.

Haiku 2 was about Guero, so I think it is fitting to dedicate this poem to his memory. I love you, Guero.

Oh wow! Tim, you're making me blush :*) It means a whole lot that the abecedarian poet himself thinks I did a good job

Haikus that mean 'Stay indoors'! LOL A very cozy picture, at least when you're on the inside looking out.

I know, right? lol. Yep, it was nice and warm inside, but outside, it is really cold.

Thanks for reading Puppilull! :)

Terrific, Drew! :)

I could hear the wind singing in different tunes, and I could picture a sleeping cat or dog on the bed.

Great job! :)

Between the two, the first one was my favorite to write. The second one, not only was my cat sleeping on my bed, he was hogging it :gikkle:

Thank you Aviana! I still blush a lot when I get high praise for the first haiku.

I have had a long standing love for Haiku poems.  These are wonderful.  The tribute to Guero was a very loving remembrance.
