Thank you @Parker Owens. I am finding that, one, there was an immense amount of same-sex love poetry written in Moorish Iberia, and two, almost none -- I mean, zip, zero, none!!! -- is available in English. I had to write to a bookstore in Athens to procure the Greek-language anthology of Gay verse cited above, which has a decent section on Arabic-language poetry, and make a translation from the Greek. I go to all lengths necessary for the "Mirror"! :yes:

And I, for one, a beneficiary of your labors, thank you. You show us so very much. What was it that kept this out of translation?
