Broken wings, hurry!
Alas, it's futile beneath
The feline's sharp claws.
Howdy y'all! I know it's been a long time since I posted anything (six years to be more precise). But last month, a dear friend of mine, @raven1, encouraged me to write poetry again. And this morning, as I saw three of my family's cats hunt a moth, I was inspired to write this haiku.
