Letting Go - 20. To my dear supporters

It has been awhile since my last updates of my story, and I am sorry to keep you waiting.

The second part of the story from chapter 18 was not supposed to be born. It was originally planned to be a happy ending at chapter 17, instead the smiles were written in grief and the happy reunion of Keith and Elliot was a desperate wish and a sorrowful call to a bitter reality. I hated the words in the end of chapter 17 and yet I loved it.

One day I decided to wake up from the lie I knitted for myself in the story, both written and unwritten, but I also needed something to keep me going, I didn't want the story to end, even though it means to break Keith and Elliot's hearts one more time, I wanted their story to continue, but then I realized I am not just a third role to write two other people's story, I am writing my story, and I am afraid to end it. I am afraid to let go.

At the moment I don't have the courage to continue. I am trying to pull my life together again. I have been going for psychotherapy for two months now, there have been good days but mostly are bad. Exams kept me busy but now I have my winter break, and I intend to use this time to really work on myself.

I am sorry one for time for keeping all the people who liked my story waiting.

Love from Keith.

Hey Keith - I kind of thought the story was over as far as you updating was concerned. Keith, you do what you need to do. Your readers will always be here waiting until you're ready to continue with this story or maybe even write a new story.

I know you have been going through a lot and I think it's wonderful that you're going for help. I think that's the best thing for you. You have your good days, and yes, you also have bad days that may outnumber your good days, but in time I think the good days will outnumber the bad days.

You have to give yourself time to heal but I don't think this can happen if you don't let go first. And letting go may be the hardest thing you ever do, but it will be the healthiest thing for you because you know Elliot is still in a coma. Unfortunately, that may not change.

You have to think about YOU now; you have to think about Keith and what Keith needs. Take the winter break to reevaluate what YOU need, get help from your therapist, and you'll see, in time you will feel better. It may not be tomorrow, it may not be next month, or in six months even, but eventually you will. You have to do this for YOU.

And your readers will be here waiting, whenever you are ready to return to writing. =)

Thank you Lisa for the kind words, any encouraging words from myself sound fake and betrayal, but I do hope I am on the right track of life.
