-In bed, when Matt and Wade make plans to hit Santa Cruz for Valentine's Day, 1999.

-When Senator Danfield's vote to impeach President Clinton pisses off Wade so much that he develops a plan to come out, and at the same time force his father to be friendlier on gay rights.

I thought to include this classic rock song because it's kinda ironic...Wade IS a fortunate son, yet with that fortune has come pain and abuse.

 

-When Wade asks Matt to be with him in the interview, and then they tell JP and Stefan about their plans.

-For Valentine's Day, 1999. When Wade gets ready for the interview in his total anal-retentive way, while Matt tells Turner about the upcoming media brouhaha.

Thanks. It's a far cry from when I did music for Be Rad, when I refused to let myself use any music that was older than four years old in 1980. Man, that was tough.

 

I'm so glad you got to 1999, though- 1999 really did have a lot of fabulous music. Eminem when he was new and fresh and not a tired has-been, the whole pop thing, the Red Hot Chili Peppers making their comeback, and the Latin explosion stuff...not to mention the Magnolia soundtrack as well as Mama Mia: The Musical.

Before I go to the next one, I've gotta say you nailed the mood of people after Colombine- the next day at my middle school we were shocked and very afraid that it could happen at our school. I remember having to evacuate to a church next to our school several times for the rest of that year because someone called in a bomb threat.

The music recs for Bloodlines are bumped up for Cyn. Just remember my word of caution: a lot of these won't work, so you'll have to take the title and artist name to find another vid on youtube that hasn't been yanked.

 

And I'm listening to 98 Degrees. God, I loooovvvvveeeeedddd Nick Lachey.
