At least around here, those christmas tree places are usually run by the boy scouts or some other group that gets a lot of volunteers to labo(u)r for free to sell the Xmas trees. While you are a 'good boy' , I don't think you'd pass as a boy scout (unless they started handing out badges for piercings ).

While I would love to just say 'write more!' lol , the need to pay the bills or doing something different is more important. Good luck on finding some additional work or something to exercise your mind.

I kind of know how youre feeling Dom... My cousin committed suicide this morning so i'm feeling kind of out of it i guess.. I think I'm gonna have a "screw it" weekend and not do anything at all. As far as the "im bored job search" thing, I wish ya the best of luck. I currently have 5 jobs that I do during the course of a week (nothing major of course) but it keeps me occupied and i dont have time to be bored. Though I do still somehow have time to read all our your stories 80 million times. Who needs sleep eh?

I'm sorry you're feeling bored Dom. I can suggest a few of my hobbies, but of course personal taste varies. I like to paint (suck at it but it's really fun), I play cards online alot (mostly spades but several other games too)...Of course you already know about reading and writing. It's also fun to cook long, eleborate meals if you have plenty of time. And I really like to go for walks too. As for finding a good temporary job, I'm sure there should be quite a few available this time of year. And it probably wouldn't hurt to go in and ask the people at the Christmas Tree place if they're hiring. Enjoy your relaxed time.....oh yeah one more fun suggestion (that probably wouldn't help much for saving money), you could do alot of shopping and eating out. That's really fun! I'm looking forward to doing my Christmas shopping this year.

You could always get a cat. They can be annoying but never boring. They also create several non-paying jobs that even starving Ethiopian immigrants won't do: cleaning the cat box, cleaning up hairballs and the never-ending game of brinkmanship- chemical warfare genocide of fleas (they must all die die die!). The trick is using something powerful enough to kill the fleas and not the cat or the family. Now that's excitement.

Good lord my mind went straight to the gutter. Reminds me of story a girl told my tour group (we were touring the high school before attending, about 4.5 years ago) that her boyfriend got his **** pierced the night before, and he was right there too looking none to comfortable... poor guy.

I don't know how close you are to your cousin, not that it matters mind you. I remember when one of my cousins committed suicide. I didn't know what to think. I remember what the family went though and my heart goes out to you and your family for the months ahead.
